Will Dez Start?

Depends. I think they will want to use him as the 3rd guy this year.

Basically give him Craytons job.

I still think if Roy gets replaced THIS season it will be by Ogletree.

All I know is it's going to be great to see #88 making big plays for us again!

He probably won't start right away, but I could see him starting by mid-season. No matter what the guy is going to contribute this year whether it be in the slot or in the return game.

Yes he will start. Along with Roy and Miles. He was drafted to contribute right away and we will need him.

The thing that does give him an advantage to possibly at some point to start is he lives right around the corner from the Cowboys facilities.

He has an opportunity to get acclimated much quicker. If he is allowed to train with the team he has 4 months to get prepared.

He will start at kick returner, and if it is a true competition he will be the #2 with Ogletree in the slot.

He won't to start the year but I'm not going to be surprised, in the least, if he unseats Roy Williams by the middle of the season.

I hope he's not starting as a returner.

As for him starting, no. I wouldn't put that type pressure on him. He still has to learn the play book. But I think he'll be worked into the receiver rotation early. And I do think they'll insert some packages in for him.

I think what you'll see, however, is slowly but surely, he will start to demand more playing time.

If its a true comepeition disregarding draft position it will be Austin as #1 and O-Tree as #2.

Will Dez start? In Washington? No. He has to learn the pro game and no one knows how long that can take. Now we get 9 or 10 games into the season and he is making more plays than Roy11 is the pressure will be on to make a switch.

I think he'll be the #3 guy for at least the beginning of the season. Although if he shows more skills than Roy I wouldn't be suprised to see him move up to #2. No way do I think he starts above Austin.

With that said I have an entirely different feeling about our WR's this season as compared to last season. I remember at the beginning of the last season feeling utter dread going in with Austin (not yet proven), Roy (still not proven) Crayton Hurd and the others. But now Austin, Roy, Bryant and Crayton just sounds deadly and I am so excited.

If he's as good as he appears to be, there's simply no way he can't be on the field. If RW had trouble getting the ball before, it's only going to get worse.

My fiance just made an interesting/funny comment, but not worth starting a new thread.

She said on one side we'll have Miles who can't help but smile and on the otherside Dez Bryant who will be mad at the world.

Haha, kind of true.
