Will Jerry & McClay make a midseason “Amari” trade if defense struggles? Ex. Jalen Ramsey

Reading the OP (not just the headline) he's not talking about trading Amari - he specifically references draft picks. He's suggesting a trade similar to the Amari one.

But given some of the other ideas he's shared I can see how some would misinterpret it.

I don't think this team needs to make another "splash" trade for a guy with a big contract, or due for one next season. The defense is in rebuild mode. I know the "r word" triggers some folks for reasons I don't comprehend, but it's not one star player away from championship caliber. It's just not.

this is like anything in life with current society. People get snippets of info and somehow know the whole story, form strong opinions (too often it's hate), revolve their whole mindset on quickly made up opinions and it's just a everlasting downward spiral.

I got it in the army and it was torture. Everyday I would crawl out of bed to not put weight on my feet. I would spend at least 10 minutes stretching them out. That would get me upright to the shower where I would let hot water finish it up.

I dealt with this for 5 years. At the end my arches where completely collapsed. No injections or stretching regimen provided long relief. The docs said that basically the tendons where detaching from the heal and reattached only to be torn off again.

So this can be very painful.
 
Straight to the point...Jerry isn't doing any rebuild of the offense at least until the end of the 2021 season.

So we're trading a great weapon to our Divisional opponent? Sheesh.
 
If the defense struggles, it's unlikely one player makes the difference. If it's one player to put the defense over the top, that's a different story.

I’m saying will Cowboys make a midseason splash move to acquire a top tier defensive player to give if then struggling defense a big boost. Similar to the “Amari” trade when the offense was struggling to move the ball.

Dallas has shown they will make mid season trades, they are expensive because you lose a comp pick. Also there needs to be a team wanting to trade away a star.
