the Rams reportedly were so unimpressed with him they didnt even bother to call him back...I think the Chargers interviewed him too, look who they hired instead

and now he cant even get the "interim" job

I know you want to slam Zimmer but you are just plain wrong here. Emmitt Thomas is the senior coach on that staff. Everyone knows that the interim guy is not getting the job so you go with the guy who has been there the longest and let the OC and DC -- who you likely are going to keep if you can -- continue to do what you hired them for.
