Wow. This is a scary sobering reality.Too much optimism about the collarbone and not enough realism about his back.
Tony is our QB, and once again the fate of our season may ride on his health. HOWEVER, my worrisome curiosity is my first statement may not be so true with the emergence of Dak. I will be honest and say the sight of Tony down last night did not bring the same level of desperation/helplessness as a fan as the many other times in the past - we can win with Dak too..... With that for now....long live Tony!I'm seeking some feedback from my fellow fans to help me deal with this nervous twitch. The responses are appreciated.
Dude please try to keep it civil. I'm just trying to measure the fan base's thoughts on our overall chances to truly make this a special season. I made it a yea or nea poll with no in between because nea can spark conversation around resting Romo at certain stages of the season (like when we have a playoff berth wrapped up). That doesn't mean he won't lead us deep into the playoffs. It's just viewing the glass realistically... & it doesn't make anyone a bad fan. This fan base is starting to get on my nerves. Let's just say one way or another a really good qb will start for us in every game.
I think you echo my gut feelings. I'm right there with you.Tony is our QB, and once again the fate of our season may ride on his health. Exactly what Troy A said..........his collarbone is the least of his worries, his back is the lynchpin to his career.Too much optimism about the collarbone and not enough realism about his back.

Asking if we are going to have a special season would never encourage the depth of responses that I have already received. So there's that.So make a post asking if we're going to have a special season then. The limited options of a poll really don't matter when it's embedded on a message board and the question posed is relatively loaded.
