What percentage of QB's make it through an entire NFL season. Regardless of age the odds of this happening are not great.

Look at Carson Wentz. Dude got his ribs broken on the first preseason game.

This sport is too violent to expect any QB to play 16 games any more.

Maybe Wentz should retire.

I think he'll be OK. I wouldn't bet on 16 games, but his back is in the same shape (if not better) than is was in 2104. He'll do his pain management thing if he tweaks it. I'd be more worried about him playing at a lower level if he's in pain then missing games.

Right.........and you have that confidence because he missed most of last year and then in his first hit of the game yesterday he was nearly carted off the field?

Talk about turning a blind eye.

NOthing more annoying that the "I think he will be OK" crowd.

If Romo makes it 16 games it is a miracle at this point. And certainly I doubt the guy can even be 100% anymore. With his style of keeping plays alive he will eventually get mauled. And crumples like a little girl when he gets hit now..

CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
14-15 games
But not 16

Btw, my answer would be the same for Dak, given his style

EACTLY............that is the whole point. And you are using this to defend Romo?

Even young 22 year old QB's dont make it through whole seasons anymore. So why would you EVER bet that the old and brittle, bad back, bad collar bone, dont know how to throw it away, Tony Romo ever would?

Why is it soooo hard for people to admit the reality that Romo is old and brittle? I will never understand the point of that.

Maybe you should open your eyes. And even after last nights dose of reality, you still sit there with your eyes closed. It really is amazing how completely blind some fans can be. The DAK era is coming. Prepare yourself mentally. Believe me, its a great thing.

Nothing more annoying than the fans who are being optimistic??? Haha..imagine that.
I can say nothing more annoying than the doom and gloom crowd.

Only 17 teams had the same QB start all 16 games last year...
So what is your plan?
Why does it bother you if fans want to be optimistic about their QB? It changes nothing.
If Romo can't play at any point then Dak will. What do you want us and the team to do? Trade for another QB? Who? Cut Romo?

Sure there is. It's the ignorant reactionary crowd. He broke a bone last year.

How is his back any different than in 2014 when he played 15?

Dugh..............................um.............he is two years older? Um...............he may not even be able to walk today with his back getting hammered yesterday? Turn the lights on buddy. You are running into walls.

Is it soo hard for you to admit? Will it make you cry to say it? What is the point of remaining in the dark? Does it make you feel all warm and fuzzy?

LOL.........you are completely and totally blind. The guy was laying on the ground wincing in pain for at least 3 minutes. Did you go to the bathroom when it happened?

Did you see Prescot running with the ball and hitting people. Running for extra yards out of bound, spinning in the air and jumping right up again? No difference in the two right?

Using it to defend Romo? What are you talking about?
I voted no and I would vote no to Dak making through an entire season also. Just I would for Zeke or Dez.
Injuries are common. This doesn't prove any part of your agenda.

Romo has that never give up, never quit mentality. I think it'll carry him far and I hope it's 16+ games. If not, Prescott will be right there leading us.
