LOL.........you are completely and totally blind. The guy was laying on the ground wincing in pain for at least 3 minutes. Did you go to the bathroom when it happened?

Did you see Prescot running with the ball and hitting people. Running for extra yards out of bound, spinning in the air and jumping right up again? No difference in the two right?

Yet he was ready to go back in and you're signing his death certificate.

The only one crying is you. It was really not hard to know who was going to be **** posting about this today. You have the worst posts on this site and pretty much everyone knows it.

After seeing what happened last night, it's hard to picture his back holding out for an entire game, much less an entire season. Hopefully, the OL will make sure to protect him better than they did vs. the Seahawks if they want him to survive through the season. Are you paying attn., Doug?

He is one not very hard hit from IR. His body is 90% done but not his mind and heart. I've been a big critic of his but I do love the guy and his competitiveness. If the team had had more playoff success during his tenure, I think the collarbone issues last year would have retired him.

Nothing more annoying than the fans who are being optimistic??? Haha..imagine that.
I can say nothing more annoying than the doom and gloom crowd.

Only 17 teams had the same QB start all 16 games last year...
So what is your plan?
Why does it bother you if fans want to be optimistic about their QB? It changes nothing.
If Romo can't play at any point then Dak will. What do you want us and the team to do? Trade for another QB? Who? Cut Romo?

Its not doom and gloom to talk about reality. What is the point about predicting overzealous wishful nonsense? Personally I come on here to have rational, realistic discussions with knowledgeable football fans.

I didn't. I do now though.

What's the point of all this? Romo will play ... until he can't. And then dak will play.

Awesome on both counts. Why we're splitting hairs over it is Assinine

I'm seeking some feedback from my fellow fans to help me deal with this nervous twitch. The responses are appreciated.

I think it's more likely than not that he starts all 16 games.

I think the question is -- will he FINISH all 16 games. To that I would say no -- I think he'll have at least one game this year where he gets drilled pretty good and has to sit the rest of the game out.

Death certificate? Cant you ever just talk in rational reality? Is that so hard?

Its either Romo will play 16 games or Romo is dying. LOL

How about we just admit the truth. Romo is old and brittle with a bad back. And his style is not conducive to getting older and staying healthy. What do you care? Havent you been watching Dak? Or have you had your eyes closed then too?

Im being SUPER HOMERISH over DAK!!!!! The guys future is so bright, he should be wearing shades out there.

There's no way. Sometime, in the near future, maybe next year, Dak will steal Romo's job, mainly because Romo just won't be able to stay healthy.

I would actually take the over on that one. I'm thinking 14 games.
While he leaves some things to be desired as a player, the one thing that nobody can deny is that he's as tough as they come. Unless he breaks something, I think he'll play at least 12.

Then maybe you should engage in some of those conversations.

What part about calling people annoying because they want to be optimistic is rational, realistic discussions.
Everyone understands there is a real risk of any QB getting hurt.
If someone wants to hope Romo plays all 16 games then great...don't you want him to play all 16 games? Why get so worked up if people don't share your negative energy? That's not rational realistic football discussions.

Yeah, I've seen Dak and a I know the best thing for him and the franchise is to not be thrown in too earley.

And as for 'rational reality' how about the fact that Romo missed last tear to a broken bone, but the four seasons before that we played...wait for it....15,15,16,16---missed only two games.

Yes, he's older, but also further removed from his back injury ans sbsequesnt surgery. You're trying to put him out to pasture for a minor preseason tweak.

I agree. Romo will not go quietly. He will fight his body and try to hang on way too long and I'm fine with that. For all his faults, he has earned the right to go out on his own terms. I think that will be with a series of injuries and during one of them, Dak will prove to be too good to put Romo back in. I think it's time for everyone to stop criticizing Romo. I was a huge critic for years but he's given the team and us everything he had. I will enjoy watching him until he can't go anymore. Of course, it will be easier knowing Dak is waiting in the wings.

We all HOPE he plays 16 games. The issue I have is with people PREDICTING he will play 16 games with a straight face. And lets change annoying to funny. Probably sounds better.

I think he should play until he gets hurt. But I have no confidence he will stay healthy.
