Will Scandrick help the way Lee did?

We've all heard how Lee stayed in the meeting rooms all season long with his injury and how he helped the guys on defense during the week. Do you think Oscan will do the same? I don't think he will to the level Lee did because Lee makes it his life, but I think and hope hell hang around and help guys like Byron and Tyler.

Scandrick will probably be around some, but I don't think he's anywhere near as smart as Lee in terms of coaching or that sort of thing. He can probably help some of the younger DBs, Patmon in particular, but his loss is a complete loss. He won't bring what Lee did to the sidelines.

My wife tore is ACL/MCL in cheerleading. Still to this day I've never seen anybody in so much pain after surgery! They put that retractor deal on immediately following surgery that moves your leg back in forth!! Not a enough morphine to go around for that.

I know you meant help in a literal sense, but I think Scandrick's injury helps in that it opens up an opportunity for Tyler Patmon to ball out.

Scandrick got suspended last season, threatened to hold out until he got a deal and is now down for the year. Don't know if he's a good influence around the players. The always say he's a little off on the break.

Sean Lee is a true leader. To expect the same contribution in any aspect from Scandrick is an erroneous assumption.

Lee is a student of the game. Scandrick is a guy who wins with will
Scandrick has really developed into a fine player but lee is more of a cerebral player
If not for all the injuries we would be talking HOF for lee, he has been that good when healthy
I'm sure scan will be around since he will have to rehab and hopefully lee can help him with that too
Lee is a guy who could be a coach when he's done and that's just his personality
The most important thing scan can do is devote himself to the rehab
We have coaches but it's on the person to push yourself thru the rehab and I suspect he will do it

Scandrick should hang around and do what he can to help the young guys. He got money from Jerry even though the latter didn't have to give it to him and now he's getting it without actually earning it. I think it would be the right thing to do.

Are you assuming he isn't nearly as smart or basing it on some sort of fact? My guess is the former.

Im sure he'll point out some things to the young guys as he sees fit. Beyond that I dont think it really matters, only so much you can do while not suiting up.

You didn't know? Lee in all of his greatest was the single reason we went to the playoffs. His will and leadership guided coach Garrett, Mr. Jones, and the rest of the team to greatness. No other player on the team is smart as Lee for obvious reasons. Scandrick doesn't have the football IQ of Lee for obvious reasons.

What Lee did last year was extraordinary but it likely was what he needed to do for himself. He needed to be around the team to keep himself upright. Also, I'm pretty sure he's been told he should coach after his playing days are done - he likely is setting himself up for that as well.

No reason to expect the same from other players.
