Are you assuming he isn't nearly as smart or basing it on some sort of fact? My guess is the former.
It's more based on the fact that Sean Lee is probably the smartest player in the league.

I also don't think Scandrick has that personality. He's a lot more gruff than Lee.

I'm sure he will he's a leader on this team probably won't be as much as Lee since he will probably be in press box during games, Lee by this time last year was 6 months from the injury and joined his teammates on the sideline. I'm sure he will speak to team once his back at the ranch.

Not questioning his intelligence
This is about football and lee is probably one of the top 2 or 3 smartest football players on the team
He's not saying scandrick is dumb he just doesn't have the football smarts lee does
The MLB has to read the offense and set the defense do that's part of it but lee is known as a student of the game

You didn't know? Lee in all of his greatest was the single reason we went to the playoffs. His will and leadership guided coach Garrett, Mr. Jones, and the rest of the team to greatness. No other player on the team is smart as Lee for obvious reasons. Scandrick doesn't have the football IQ of Lee for obvious reasons.

Now you know....

What the heck is this about?

?

You understand that leadership and teaching goes a long way in football...right? I guess having a HC doesn't make a difference either.

OScan is a "scrapper"
Scrapers are always looking for the edge, the "extra" because they know they are not as talented as some others
I love to have scrapers in my corner
I think he can help and he will

Dude we have a coaching staff for that specific reason. If anybody doesn't understand what they have to do they should ask the coordinator or a position specific coach. That's what they get paid for.

The coaching staff has already spoken highly of Lee's football IQ. I don't think they would have a problem with young guys going to Lee. Seeing as how every LB we put out on the field seems to either up their level of play or excel, I'm going to say both the position coach and Lee are doing a pretty good job.

I wanted to talk about how it gives me a sense of structure, it gives me some brotherhood, talk about the organization,” Scandrick said. “I’m happy to be a part of such a structured, progressive group of people.

“I’m going to take this time and I’m going to heal and support these boys in the best way I know, give them all the knowledge that I got and the goals should still remain the same. It’s going to be tough to be on the sideline.

“I promise you, and I say this from the bottom of my heart, I’m going to come back and I will be a better football player than anybody has ever seen me be around here.”

I was just talking about Scandrick. Lee is a different animal, he's the head of the defense, he calls the shots, he gets everybody lined up, he studies offenses like crazy, he knows offenses from the back of his hand. You can't coach that in drills or during practice. So I want a guy like that around our defense if he's hurt because he can help out a lot, he can do more than coaches can. But Scandrick? I mean it doesn't hurt having him in the meetings and if he sees Mo make a mistake or whatever let him be that additional guy to give his feedback but that's about it but let's stop comparing it to having Lee around, whether Scandrick shows up or not is not going to make a difference. In fact him being gone might get those other guys to bond a little more.
