I hear people say that Marinelli may leave to go Tampa, but I can't see why. What role would he fill there?

Linehan won't have head coaching offers for at least a couple more years before the stink of his last stint wears.

this is an important question. I believe Jerry and Red will do everything possible
to keep him on board. As has been discussed here Nellie is loyal to Lovie so
to me it's a 50/50 guess. His really important

For my new found respect of Jason Garrett, I sure hope they stay for his sake.

I think alot will depend on how far we get in the playoffs. As far as Marinelli goes, I truly hope he doesnt jump ship. Just got the thing out of dry dock!

Personally, I'd be more worried if Linehan or Marinelli left than if Garrett found work elsewhere. I would say that this year's success has more to do with Linehan and Marinelli than Garrett. Just a guess on my part. No one really knows other than the team since we don't get to see who is involved and their actual input.

First NFC East title in five years, 11-4 record, playing the best we have in years, great young foundation (save for a young, grooming QB) and clearly on a roll, yet there are still some "fans" who think Garrett fell into this *** backwards.

SMH

As for the staff, I think Callahan is probably the likeliest to leave.

It sounds like the bigger priority for Tampa is to bring in a new offensive coordinator. If that area of the team doesn't improve, Smith may only have one more year.

Not sure why everyone believes Lovie would cut ties with Leslie Frazier. Frazier, like Lovie, is from the Dungy tree. So that Dungy stamp of approval means a great deal. That's the primary reason Lovie hired him in the 1st place. Can't see him dumping Frazier already knowing they need more talent. It really isn't Frazier that's the problem with that defense.

Marinelli could be who Lovie wants and Rod could move on but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion. Could be wrong obviously...but

Be careful what u wish for.

Garrett has been the perfect liaison between jerry and lunacy.

That's hard to do since they're one in the same.

And you know this how? You have access to Valley Ranch? You have some inside info on which coaches are doing what, which coaches are choosing draft picks, etc.? Do you have any examples of Garrett being the 'perfect liason?'

Marinelli may just go to TB as a Dline coach with Frazier still being D coordinator. According to some folks, at this point in his career, Marinelli doesn't have to be a D coordinator to be happy.

I pray both coordinators stay. That being said, Eberflus has seen a lot and has been around quite a few coordinators in his career. I think he would step in and do a fine job.
