The New Channel produced by the NFL Network which is "Redzone" will premiere on 9/13/09 at 1pm to 7:30pm. This channel will allow NFL fans to see live action all around the league once a team gets in the redzone during the 1pm and 4pm games. So now that this channel will go from game to game so viewers can see live redzone acton, is it worth paying $200 for the Sunday Ticket?

I would prefer to see the whole game then the 2 or 3 minutes a team spends in the Redzone per game.

would you rather watch a whole game or just parts where they are in the redzone?

I think its good for fantasy team owners who don't have any specific games of interest at that time.

But I would rather watch a Cowboys game or an NFC East rival play instead of Red Zone cam.

Plus you wont know what your missing if you just watch the redzone.

I don't think it will have any effect on the Purchase of Sunday Ticket. Most people purchase ST to follow a team, not to watch when someone is close to scoring. I purchase it to watch the Cowboys when they are playing. I don't really care when the Bears are in the red zone and the Boys are playing.

If the Boys aren't playing, I usually flip it around to watch teams I want to lose.

Redzone is good in theory but it doesn't take place of watching a whole game. The plays that count are the ones that got the team in the redzone in the first place, why would you not want to see that.

I think it was a great idea because the switch to each game has a purpose. When switching games at home a team maybe on their own 10 yd line and it's 3rd and 15.

Also I'm talking about the times when the Cowboys are not playing.

What sort of fan would rather watch parts of the game as opposed to the entire game? Only reason i can think of is if they can't afford the ticket.

I love the red zone channel and watch it whenever the Cowboys aren't playing or there is no other game I want to see in it's entirety. There are also very few commercials too so you don't have to endure commercials after the score, then the kickoff, then a bunch more commercials before the receiving team plays a down.

Look, up until now fans without the Sunday Ticket never has a great opportunity like this on football sunday. Redzone sounds great to me because you will see live scoring drives. So i bet anyone without the Ticket will accept REDZONE coverage only which something brand new.

I'd gladly pay $200 for the Sunday Ticket.

Problem is that they've raised it to $280.00.

You better stick with the NFL TICKET cause the Foreskins rarely reach the Redzone.....:laugh2: That offense sucks!!!!!

So far, no.. but it's getting very close to that line..

very close.
I love Sunday Ticket. Say the Cowboys have the late game and there's 8 early games being played... I am not going to sit there and focus on only 1 game, missing the action in 7 others. It's not about attention span, it's about the fact that I would rather watch a touchdown then a 2 yard run off tackle on 2nd and 7. You get split screens when multiple games are in the red zone and instant highlights of any big play.

Plus RZC has no commercials - except when Andrew Siciliano (the host) tries to get us to buy the DirecTV NFL Remote Control.

Well Living in Philly you get 85% of Cowboys games without the ticket

Yes but living in Florida with 3 teams not in the NFC East means I would miss a bunch of Cowboys games. For me, Sunday Ticket is a Godsend....and yes I also enjoy the RedZone channel.
