It's early in the season but should the Cowboys lose to the 49ers, it will have detrimental affects not only playoff placement wise, it will also have a negative mental affect on the Cowboys and their fans.
It will be hard going through the rest of the season, even if the Cowboys get on a roll, knowing that no matter what they do they will still likely lose (again) to the 49ers should they meet in the playoffs.
I’ll still watch, because I love football season, and while a loss Sunday night would definitely make things harder, nothing is impossible.

No. But I will have zero faith they will get beyond the 49ers in the Playoffs.

They’ll be 12 games left, the season would be far from over if the Cowboys lose. A loss could cost them home field, but if the team allows a loss to wreck their confidence, causing the wheels to come off then this team doesn’t have the mental make up to be a championship team. The NFL season is a marathon and regardless if the 49ers win on Sunday night, they’re going to lose some games this season. The loss that may come back to haunt the Cowboys the most is the one to Arizona. If you look back on recent history with the Cowboys, it’s the losses to teams they were supposed to beat that ended up costing them the most in the end.

For everyone who feels the season will be over with a loss to the hated 9ers, I suggest you protest en masse and go silent on The Cowboy Zone until the draft for next year.

That'll show the franchise, and solidify your resolve for the people who post here that you ain't messin' around.

I, for one, will miss your early season disengaging and the volatile rhetoric that follows. But I will admire your determination. As well as your silence.
