Bracket Coverage- Cornerback playing aggressive bump coverage at the line of
scrimmage. He can do that because he has a safety whose sole
responsibility is to help with coverage of that wr. Only a few wr
command this respect.

If TO was getting this coverage 50% of the time or more then we are in trouble. That means that we should have been exploiting the weaknesses that this defense has and if it wasn't exploited then Romo and/or Jason G has some explaining to do and we are in trouble for next year.

If TO wasn't getting this coverage very much and defenses were playing him like a regular reciever then that means that TO's days as a true no.1 reciever are over and
I really like our chances going forward.

I ask this question because on tv you can't tell what kind of coverage the defensive backfield is playing, you probably would have to be privy to the coaches game tape to tell.

He will miss him as a friend, I doubt he will have time to wear black arm bands and mourn the cruel exclusion of the greatest player ever to lace up cleats.

Hell no he won't miss him. With or without him this is a potent Offense. That's right, even without him this team will move the ball and score, a lot.

They usually turn blue, pass out, start breathing again, and then do it all over again. Evetually tantrums stop because they don't work.

Will Romo miss T.O? NOPE, Not hardly. This is what Jerry meant when he said he wanted to make the offense more Romo friendly. Now Romo can drop back and throw to whoever is uncovered, you know, like your SUPPOSED TO! Who here wants to take my bet? Romo will have a much better season than T.O will. I understand its apples to Oranges but still. Tony will be fine, T.O on the other hand wont.

I will not miss TO or his antics. It makes the cowboys look ridiculous at times and hurts the class of the organization. He is not good for chemistry since it is a team sport and even though he will count against the cap in a large way this year getting him off the books before he loses his skill set is a good thing.:star:

Or was Garrett having the same issue with TO as Brad Childress and Todd Haley

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for someone to start the "Who do you think will get TO's locker?" thread.

honestly if you can't come up with a gameplan with TO in the lineup you're probably not capable of coming up with a gameplan at all

The TO issue in Philly was about money anyways it's not the same thing

As a friend probably.

But as the T.O. on the field?? Hell no.

Romo will spread the ball around more like he used to do. Not constantly locking in on T.O. because he is crying for the ball.

Yeah, so he doesn't get his money and he decides to act like an ***?

Keep making excuses for your hero.

All elite WRs demand this type of coverage and beat it consistantly. Guys like Fitzgerald, Randy Moss, Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, and even TO in his younger years were conistantly played this way, and they still beat it.

This coverage wasn't invensted this past season as a way to stop TO.

So get over it, he is no longer a Cowboy, and for better or worse, support your team or hit the bricks..........................
