Of course there is accountability all around. Pointing fingers is pointless pun intended.

Obviously Dallas feels our offense will be sufficient at the least. TO will not be long unemployed and I wish him well. He's not the devil nor an angel. He's merely human.

We will move forward. The Cowboys are greater than the sum of their parts and always will be.

Bracket Coverage- Cornerback playing aggressive bump coverage at the line of
scrimmage. He can do that because he has a safety whose sole
responsibility is to help with coverage of that wr. Only a few wr
command this respect.

If TO was getting this coverage 50% of the time or more then we are in trouble. That means that we should have been exploiting the weaknesses that this defense has and if it wasn't exploited then Romo and/or Jason G has some explaining to do and we are in trouble for next year.

If TO wasn't getting this coverage very much and defenses were playing him like a regular reciever then that means that TO's days as a true no.1 reciever are over and
I really like our chances going forward.

I ask this question because on tv you can't tell what kind of coverage the defensive backfield is playing, you probably would have to be privy to the coaches game tape to tell.

Will he miss him yes, alomst 40 td's in 3 years how could you not miss him? We are talking about on the field, right? I think they made each other. When Romo and Roy click and get on the same page. Nobody will miss him....

Hell no he won't miss him. With or without him this is a potent Offense. That's right, even without him this team will move the ball and score, a lot.
We shall see.

if you say so..

I say we have far bigger problems that are being ignored with all the TO business going on
We will be around to remind them every game this season. No one wants to talk about or address the real issues on this team, but I'm pretty sure the fans will find another player and blame that one next year.

All elite WRs demand this type of coverage and beat it consistantly. Guys like Fitzgerald, Randy Moss, Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, and even TO in his younger years were conistantly played this way, and they still beat it.

This coverage wasn't invensted this past season as a way to stop TO.

So get over it, he is no longer a Cowboy, and for better or worse, support your team or hit the bricks..........................

Mike Irvin was my favorite Cowboy but when Philly plated that same defense on him with Bobby Taylor, Booby got NFL player of the week. Mike even today remains perturbed because people thought that Taylor shut him down 1 on 1 when in fact he had a safety over top every play. You see teams do that when there is not another legitimate threat on the opposite side. That's the same coverage Fitz got from Pitts in the first half of the SB you see how successful he was then.

Just move on bro. TO is gone. He served us well while he was here. If you want my two cents... Defensive Coordinators rejoiced (along with many others) at the news of TO's release. I see a huge dose of 8 in the box this year and defenses daring us to beat them with the pass. I hope Garrett is up for it or else it's going to be a longer one than last year.

Wait till Roy Williams get pressed at the line with safety help over the top, and then ask the question...

Exactly... I pointed out the same thing regarding Fitzgerald. Larry got his only in the second half in one-on-one match-ups, otherwise he was rendered ineffective when doubled. People get blurred because Fitzgerald has a couple of spectacular plays in double coverage... People forget that Arizona's offense was stagnating by the end of the year, and it was only when they made a concerted effort to run the ball did they re-capture that explosiveness. The teams were concerned because of the run.

Will Romo miss T.O? NOPE, Not hardly. This is what Jerry meant when he said he wanted to make the offense more Romo friendly. Now Romo can drop back and throw to whoever is uncovered, you know, like your SUPPOSED TO! Who here wants to take my bet? Romo will have a much better season than T.O will. I understand its apples to Oranges but still. Tony will be fine, T.O on the other hand wont.
You've got to be kidding on this one. T.O. made Romo and Jason Garrett what they are. T.O. had two to three defensive players always shadowing him, which should of made Romo's job a whole lot easier. Now what is going to happen? Witten and Romo should have stepped up for T.O., especially Witten because no more free passes for him anymore. Just think about this and Romo is in for a horrible season this year, just wait. T.O. will have the last laugh.

For me, this move was like Christmas in March! By far the best move so far in free agency. Heck, even Skip Bayless who is notorious for ripping the Cowboys for any and everything said that the Cowboys, and Romo will be a better team, and that Romo will have a breakout year.

Skip didn't even call Tony, Tony Romeo either. I was rather shocked.

I hope he does, now that Garrett has become such a great coach i'm sure he'll find a way to get someone else the ball when the D has 2 players committed to his #1 WR

It will be the first time in a while that we have had two guys committed to our #1 WR.

TO didn't command two people, all that was needed was to put a top CB on him in press coverage and he couldn't get free of that. TO still has enough speed to break loose when he is in the open field, but he doesn't have the quickness anymore to consistently free himself from press coverage anymore.

Go to NFL.com and listen to Charlie Casserly, he has pointed out the same thing. There was a time when TO was one of the top two or three WR's in football. Now, he is more of a guy who can get buy as a #1 WR, but is truely more of a #2 WR. The only problem is that he still THINKS he is a #1 WR, and one of the top two or three in football.

You are the one that is simply wrong, if you think that teams double covered TO.

They didn't half to, if a CB pressed covered TO, TO couldn't get free.
