honestly if you can't come up with a gameplan with TO in the lineup you're probably not capable of coming up with a gameplan at all

The TO issue in Philly was about money anyways it's not the same thing

You can keep saying it is about the money all you want but there was major turmoil in Philly it may have started out with money but their where major problems starting to take place with McNabb and Brad Childress and Andy Reid. When Reid was holding a meeting and TO continued to talk he told TO to shut up TO storms off. Even in Dallas TO goes off on Todd Haley talking about how he can't work with Haley, last time I checked Haley got his team to a SB so I think these coaches that TO moans about may actually know more about the game of football than Owens will ever under stand. Football is not a 1 man sport and it is not all about TO as he seems to think it is.

Yeah, so he doesn't get his money and he decides to act like an ***?

Keep making excuses for your hero.

I'm keeping it real dude, no excuses just being honest Taking players away from a bad coach doesn't make that coach any better

Funny how most of you spent the majority of the season whining about Garrett because that was the "cool" thing to do, look at you now blaming TO like the little sheep you are

Bracket Coverage- Cornerback playing aggressive bump coverage at the line of
scrimmage. He can do that because he has a safety whose sole
responsibility is to help with coverage of that wr. Only a few wr
command this respect.

If TO was getting this coverage 50% of the time or more then we are in trouble. That means that we should have been exploiting the weaknesses that this defense has and if it wasn't exploited then Romo and/or Jason G has some explaining to do and we are in trouble for next year.

If TO wasn't getting this coverage very much and defenses were playing him like a regular reciever then that means that TO's days as a true no.1 reciever are over and
I really like our chances going forward.

I ask this question because on tv you can't tell what kind of coverage the defensive backfield is playing, you probably would have to be privy to the coaches game tape to tell.

I would say that a MUCH biggest question is will TO miss Romo.

There was a time in TO's career that teams didn't DARE to match a CB, even the best CB's up against TO in press coverage, if/when they did, TO would abuse them so bad it would not even be funny. However, what happened last year, started all the way back in 2007 (people just do not realize it). Detroit to an extent, and the largely Philly showed the league that you could line up your #1 CB on TO in press coverage with a safety back incase TO did get free, and more often than not, that CB could handle TO himself. That was the end of the quick strike offense and the end of TO's HUGE season even in 2007. After those two games (but largely the Philly game), TO has posted EXACTLY 2 100 yard games out of 18 games. Also TO's yards per catch have gone down significantly as a whole as well. In early 2007 a sub 14 ypc game was RARE, infact he only had 4 sub 14 ypc games (one against St Louis where Crayton went off for 7 catches for 184 yards, and we won 35-7, one against Buffalo the game that Romo threw 5 INT's and the offense never got on track, one against New England (enough said there), and one against New York Jets where we only threw the ball 28 times compared to 34 rushes and won 34-3. He also had ZERO games with TPC of under 10.

Starting with the Detroit game, TO has only had a YPD of over 14 in 8 of 18 games. And in three of those games he was limited to only 2 catches. He also has had 7 games where he has had a YPC of under 10.

In no way am I saying that TO is still not a good and dangerous NFL WR, he definately is. But, what I am saying is that TO is no longer an elite #1 WR in the NFL, he is truely more of a #2 type of NFL WR, he has just managed to put up the numbers that he has because he has Romo throwing him the ball and with Witten taking the pressure off of him, and been the #2 target in a passing based offense. Don't think you can put up 69 catches for 1052 yards, and 10 TD's without being a legit #1 NFL WR? Well Mike Martz managed to turn Shaun McDonald into a 79 catch, 943 yard, 6 TD WR as the #3 option in 2007, and that was with Kitna as the starting QB, not a Tony Romo.

Why would Romo miss T.O when he has Witten. :) Who is more of a team player and Cowboy than TO could have ever been. I didn't like him when he pulled his crap on the midfield star and I rejoiced at hearing that he was off the roster.

TO is all about TO. He was never a team player and if he didn't get his way, he would whine, pout, throw a tantrum or threaten to kill himself..

Good riddance to bad rubbish

See ya TO.. don't let the gate hit ya on the way out.

Blaming T.O.???

T.O. is a part of the problem. I still criticize Garrett and other guys on the team. You seem to be the sheep. All you do is defend T.O.

Where are you talking about the rest of the team??? Give me a break.

Name that game.

Bigger :omg:

Actually Hos, he is talking about the Washington Commander last year (the last game of the season). But there were several factors in that game. The starters only played the first half, and even when they did play, they only showed up physically not mentally, not to mention our starting WR's were Patrick Crayton and Terry Glenn (who fell down everytime he tried to make a cut), with Sam Hurd getting alot of playing time as well.

For a guy with so much talent no one finds it strange that so many teams want nothing to do with him?

while I did not mind T.O. or what he brought on the field, but for some reason for the last two days it has felt like the black cloud has moved on past valley ranch.
