Will we bench Heath for Woods?

After seeing it the past couple of weeks and then reading the tweets, Woods needs to be the starter. Will they make that move is the question considering Heath isn't injured?

I agree. I've not been let down by a player as bad as Heath has let me down.

Looked to me like they benched Heath for 2 series after he missed Gurley on that 53 yard TD reception.

Only they ran Frazier out there instead of Woods for some bizarre reason.
Frazier is the b/u at SS.

I really wish they would, but I believe our coaching staff really likes to give vets some rope (I don't agree with that mostly).

Woods has made some plays and he clearly needs to be getting more playing time, so hopefully they keep working him into games and he forces their hand. I am like many, was willing to give Heath a chance and hopeful for him, but man has he fallen flat (on his rear yesterday trying to tackle)

True, but its not like they are playing either one like a true SS, they spend most of the game 25 yards deep or in coverage vs 2nd TEs and RBs. Seems like Woods would be more effective in that role to me.
Good point maybe this is apart of the problem?

Next to impossible for fans to evaluate safeties as we don't know the coverage although we can make better guesses with the All 22 than we used to. Used to be in the dark basically. Even basic Cover 2 etc has different called coverages up to a point at times.

What Jeff Heath needs, like everybody on defense, is for this offense to return to it's time-of-possession dominance.

Too many plays exposes all average defenses.

This is one change that should definitely be made. We need to create some TOs and Woods always seems to be around the ball.
