I think I will, Im a big boy.

Its going to suck seeing the 10-15 little things that could of changed the game.

Like, if our TD drive in the 1st half took like 15 more seconds, the Giants dont have time to score before the half and we win.

Theres a few plays were we could of been tackled inbounds, but went out. That alone should of been enough to get the win.

And the bogus call on Ware to give the Giants fresh set of downs which led to a TD......the list goes on. This is going to be tough

I've watched it several times.

For a lot of you that think "MB3 got tired in the 2nd half" and "Tony Romo choked", it wouldnt hurt for some of you to watch again.

Already saw the game so I guess I will pass. Rehashing all of the little things that could have changed the outcome of that game won't help the fact that we did not win it. There were so many individual plays that we either did not make or we let them make that could have changed the outcome. If (I hate IF) we had made all of the plays that we should have or could have it would have been a blowout in our favor...but it didn't happen.

I'm just looking forward to next season.

I think I'll pass. The Cowboys did so many things wrong in that game, but they can't change it at this point. Let the players rewatch it, learn from it and move on. I can't wait for training camp, Hard Knocks and preseason. Last season doesn't matter anymore, but there is so much to look forward to. Fans of other teams can't necessarily say that.

I finally watched it last week for the second time (live was the first). Dallas could have easily won that game with a break here or there. Ware anticipated the snap count and gets called offside. We had them stopped and the new set of downs killed us. The Crayton drop really hurt. I don't think Henry had that good of a game. He gave a big cushion all game and had numerous balls caught in front of him. Reeves sucked, although I think he made one nice play on the ball. That loss hurt pretty bad because I knew we outplayed them. I guess it comes down to making the plays when it counts. The Giants took the opportunities given to them in the Superbowl as well.

After watching the second time, I thought Canty was a beast. He had his guy driven into the backfield all day it seemed. Romo did stick a pass right into a CB's gut and he dropped it. Other than that, it seemed they didn't make the mistakes that ended up costing us big. It wasn't as tough to watch as I had anticipated. It made me look forward to this season even more.

Less than 4 weeks till I get my fix.

Amen.

I have watched the game about 5 times and listened to the radio call 2 times. I just listened to the radio call about two weeks ago. The radio call of the game is more painful to listen to, for me anyway.

Alot of people need to rewatch that game again. I personally love the people that post here who didnt want to give marion barber a new contract based on the second half of that game. Had we won those same people would have been calling him the best back in the league after that performance.

OMG I thought I was a glutton for punishment. I've viewed it 3 times.

As someone who knows this game so well, I wonder if you agree with me that we were screwed by the officiating.

I have already watched it 3-4 times.
And it looks like MB III gets tired and Romo gets a little rattled by the intense pass rush (wouldn't call it a choke, but he probably missed some opportunities).

No doubt MBIII had the same opportunities in the 2nd half but was just too gassed .. still a great game on his part.

I recorded the game on DVD as I do all Cowboy games. I have already reviewed the game 6 or 7 times and we did get ripped off. But I look at the future as our players should take things to the next level. This is going to be our year. Everthing is gonna be alright........

Come on BraveHeartFan you have to have faith.
Next week when they replay the game, Crayton's going to run out his route on that next to last play of the game and win for us;)

Romo did look flustered or rattled under that rush but so did the other qbs after that including Brady. Thank goodness Strahan retired.

yeah, they dont have strahan now, that cries like a baby when he was down on the ground, and Bigg Leonard Davis popped him while trying to get up, that was one of the penalities that shouldnt have been called;

on the ware play, that was called on him for being offsides, he wasnt offsides, Ohara the sneaky sun of a gun, moved the football forward and back again, then snapped the ball, troy aikman called attention to this during the game;

another play refs riipped us off, on one of the giants return on a punt, one of the giants players reached out and grabbed a dallas cowboys player near the shoulder pad, shows him grabbing the dallas cowboy jersey, then pulling the dallas cowboy player down and backwards, which was holding very plain and simple, did the giants get called for this NO!

on the romo play that they called romo for throwing the ball away for intentionally grounding, no giant defender was in his face, and romo threw the ball to the sidelines; the NFL Head Ref admitted that was a blown call and shouldnt have been called.

So, yes the refs did rip us off on plays, looked like those refs were calling the game to keep the giants in the ballgame.

I am not making excuses, we should have made the plays and won anyway, even newman admitted they took the giants lightly;

and the offensive line did give up in the 2nd half, granted the giants have a great pass rush, but our offensive line did give up some;

I do think this is our year, but to me, the Cowboy players have to show us they really want to win in december and the playoffs.

And what should we be looking for to disprove that claim? Barber could not handle the full load the whole game, hence why we went and drafted more running backs to help him out. I think i even heard TNew? say Barber got tired in the second half. And Romo did not play his best and made some bad choices. When i rewatched the game i saw a few throws that he missed that were huge. And i thought his time management at the end of the game was terrible, maybe it was partly the coaches fault, i dont know, but rewatching the game did not disprove what you say it disproves. Give me some proof to why it should.

Yep I agree. Instead rewatching the game proves the two points the poster thought it would disprove - MBIII did get tired -- potentially confirming fears that his running style won't allow him to be a 20-25 carry guy -- and Romo was clearly rattled in the 4th quarter.

I was with you til you got to the we should have won anyway.
Why should we have won anyway?
Why do we have to beat the opponent and the officials?

I've been watching the Cowboys for 30 years and have never seen a season as bad as this one. I don't have the time to go through each game, but I'm sure we had more bad/marginal calls go against us this year than any year I can remember.

I'd like to know what the Cowboys think about this. I know they like most teams track this stuff and send complaints to the league each week.
I wonder if they noticed a significant increase in incorrect calls against us.

sonnyboy, i understand what your saying, i didnt really look at the bad calls that have been called against us the whole year;

i do know that teams send film and get replies back from the NFL refs regarding blown calls by the refs, which the NFL did admit blown call called against Romo.

What i meant we should have won, is that to my mind, maybe im too big a dallas cowboy fan, but we did beat the giants twice, and we if you look on paper have more talent than the giants did. The Cowboys were beating the giants till that call on ware for being offsices, but he wasnt due to the fact O'hara the center moved the football.

Which the giants did score on us then, along with some other bad calls, but the game was played in our home field, we had just as a good team as Giants, probably better, but the players werent playing with a lot of passion, pride, heart to me in 2nd half. That right there was what beat us. Sure, the Giants made the plays when they had to and the Cowboys didnt.

And the refs blown calls didnt help. What got me really ticked off at the refs was what the Commissioner Goodell did for that game. As you know, generally the best refs with their crew head ref are chosen to ref the playoff games, the best refs. Well, the Commissioner this time decided to do something totally uncalled for, he picked the best head ref, and put them with another crew staff that they hadnt worked with before.

In this case, in the playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys and the Giants, the Commissioner Goodell put the head ref that 75% of the time or more, that generally called the game in favor of the home team, but the remaining crew staff that was chosen for the Cowboys-Giant playoff game, they over 75% of the time went against the home stadium and picked in favor of the opponent. In this case, the other ref crew staff did what showed they would do, they picked in favor of the opponent, the Giants.

Whats ironic to that, in the super bowl, best to my memory, the same crew was picked to ref the superbowl. And sure enough, in the super bowl. O'Hara moved the football forward and backward, then snapped the football. Sure enough the patriots were caled offsides. And if you look at the refs that called that game, most of them were from New York.

So, again I think they blew that, the commissioner and the head ref over the refs that had this new playoff system for refs to call the games. Thats nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AGain, though, like some guys had posted, T O was open several times and Romo overlooked him, Crayton dropped 2 big catchable balls. The defense let up before the 2nd half, just like they did in the cowboys new york giants game in new york right before halftime. I am not sure whom was calling defense on both of those games right before the half, but the defense coordinator or head coach needs to do better than that. That big touchdown right before the half time hurt the Cowboys bad!!!!!!!!

So, thats what I meant by the Cowboys shoudl have won. And yes, the refs did blow that game big time. And yes the Commissioner needs to be aware of that, that us fans know they blew the calls, we know the commissioner messed up big time when he put a head ref with a ref crew that he the head ref didnt work with before. Whats up with that?

And why were refs from New York calling that big playoff game, and why is O'Hara the center for the Giants allowed to move the football forward, and backware and then snap the ball to get the defense to jump offsides, thats illegal.

Sorry, just letting off a little steam. I am not going to pop a blood vessel or anything like that, just iriatates me when I think how the Cowboys could have gone to the SuperBowl last year, maybe win it all and they didnt and the refs blew calls bigtime.

AMEN! It's like revisionist history with some posters. When watching that game again, it's really mindboggling that the Giants snuck out with a win. It was like they never had the ball and Dallas was the only thing that could stop itself. Unforced errors and drops = losing to a lesser team.
