He is taking the heat when we lose in spite of the fact he is NOT the reason we are losing. So Tony and Garrett need to let it loose. Seriously. I will live with a pick if it means he is going to throw 4 TDs. Because right now this dink and dunk BS is not working. Especially when we cannot get the PR and KR teams to provide us with any kind of field posistion.

Tony has the BIGGEST heart on this team and he has shown in the past that he is NOT afraid to FAIL. And there are not many coaches and players on this team I can say the same thing about.

He always takes the heat for our losses.

If he was our biggest problem we'd be in excellent shape.

Even though our defense has some warts, we are keeping other teams from scoring. SD is the #1 scoring offense in the AFC. They average 28 points a game we held them to 20. For the most part the Defense has gave this team chance to win most of the games this year.

If the freaking offense can score more consistently, we should not be in this predicament.

Maybe it's time to shake some things up.

I just want to see a bit more consistent play calling in crucial areas so we're not leaving points all over the field.

unleashing romo?

Last year when the offense was aggressive everyone blamed romo for throwing down the field, now this year when garrett has reigned him in garrett sucks again.

Seems to me its the offensive staff that has been able to change the approach.

Yet everytime we play a team with a good qb and a good offensive coach all our blitzes are picked up with ease and are defense looks pretty average. All the money and talent here is on the defensive side of the ball yet this unit is the one that has consistently let us down.

So if you want to unleash romo and let him throw the football down the field that is going to mean there will be turnovers because you are asking him, like you were before to be aggressive and throw balls into tight windows and take chances. that means the defense will be on the field more and teams will just score more.

and something to go with unleashing romo, I am not sure what he could do to be honest, the pass protection is iffy at best and everyone is pressing our wr and they are not handling it well.

Yesterday they pressed roy williams every snap and they didnt even give whatever corner was on him safety help, most of the time when the ball was snapped they were rolling the safety away from williams. And yet when you see him down the field he looked like he was wearing jammer as part of his uniform.

Throw in the running backs who keep fumbling and unleashing romo might lead to a blowout loss.

The defense is the reason we lost the last two games. The offense takes the lead against the Giants we let Brandon Jacobs take it 75 yards. The offense ties the game yesterday and the defense gives up a 86 yard TD drive. Hard to blame Garrett on that one.

Garrett hasn't done crap other than ruin this offense. Romo has reigned himself in, because he has learned not to force it because his WRs aren't open.

Romo's pretty much been unleashed, anyway. Can't expect him to play any better.

The fumbling from all three running backs kills me. We almost lost to WAS because of it, it did cost us in NY, and then just as I was warming to the idea of starting Felix, he put the ball on the ground again yesterday.

At least it was good to see RW cover up in traffic at the end of his long RAC.

I didn't know MBIII let the Giants get back into the game by fumbling while playing defense? I didn't know Hixon scored his TD on a offensive play? Maybe I watched a different game.

Unlease Romo against the Saints and we will lose 48-24.

After a few turnovers our defense will be exhausted by the 3rd quarter and NO wins the short lived track meet.

To beat NO, the run game must come up big, no turnovers on offense, make a few big plays and create some turnovers on D.... In short, we're screwed.

You know I watched a couple of games this Sunday and hell this season and when you watch guys like Aaron Rodgers all he does is lob it up and lets Driver and Jennings make a play on the ball. They NEVER do this in Dallas. Never. We never let Austin or Roy attempt to make a play for the football. All of these yards Romo gets are just good thrown balls. Which is great but we're leaving points on that board and a good way to stop it is to score through the air.

Defense held them to 20 points and we scored 17. So tell me again which side lost the game for us yesterday?

Quit making the Saints to be the greatest team ever assembled. The Cowboys are not "screwed". They don't leave points on the board than they are in good shape. NO is beatable. Their defense is beatable. I'm of the belief the pass opens up the run on this team and in order to get the ground game going Romo needs to air it out.

They are beatable. No doubt. All teams are.

They're just unbeaten to this point and there really isn't anything about that which will change on Saturday.

They can be beaten, and possibly will be at some point, but it won't be by us on Saturday.

That's what people don't realize it. I'm not sure how many yards he threw for yesterday. Probably atleast 250+. But it doesn't matter. We limited them to 20 points. That's a good day for the defense. I keep seeing all this talk about the corners and the secondary or whatever. The defense did their job. Chargers aren't bums. They're going to score. I felt the Cowboys needed about 30 points to win yesterday. All they needed was atleast 20 to be in that game and left a TD and a field goal on that board. Just can't do that. You gotta score when you get the chance and that's been the story of this season. You can't leave field goals and let alone TD's on that board and expect to win. You can't overcome it. Not against a good team.

Maybe. I won't predict this game because I simply don't know. It depends on who shows up because i've watched this NO team for 4 weeks now and I believe the Cowboys are better than the Commanders, Panthers and all of these non playoff teams who they keep barely escaping. Maybe the Saints are just playing down to the competition and if that's the case then the Cowboys have a better chance than you're giving credit for. They won't run the football against us. I think what everyone is afraid of is Brees' arm but I don't think he's going to air it out as much as you guys think. I can see them doing just like the Chargers and only putting up 20 and the Cowboys are good enough to put up more than 20 on the board. It depends on if they leave any points on the board due to dumb penalties or just poor execution.

The defense limited them for sure, but the reality is also that, they had the ball back with 9 minutes left and just took the air out of it.

Had they needed to get into the endzone twice in the 4th qtr I have no doubt they would have. If they needed 30 their late to beat us I believe they would have had it.

They just didnt.

They can approach the Saints game in 2 ways IMO.

They can try to play a ball control offense and put together long sustained drives that eat the clock and shorten the game.A shorter game means less possessions for either team and most likely a lower scoring game.

They can try to air it out and run an up tempo attack that will lengthen the game. They can try to go that route but they need to put points on the board at every chance. If you get in a shoot out with the Saints you must be able to finish drives. Those 3 and outs turn into more oppurtunities for the opposition.

I think the Saints offense will dictate the game if given the chance. If they start scoring this offense is going to have to respond.I just don't see this defense getting too many stops,to many breakdowns in the secondary on 3rd down.
