Dak is one of the most improved players I've seen this season. He deserves all the credit in the world.

I've never bought the Wince hype. He's a serviceable QB at best, but history has shown us he needs a Super Bowl caliber supporting cast to play at an elite level.

I was in Wentz hype until he couldn't stay healthy. He has a lot of talent.

Those who have been insisting on this Dakota vs Wentz comparison are about to see Wentz feast on crappy teams just like Dak did. These 2 turds will probably meet each other in Qb ratings by the end of the season

Wentz going up and Dakota continuing to slide downward. Book it

We all think Wentz has sucked this year, look at this.

What did the respective defenses do in those games? And how many fumbles did Wentz lose (he's top 10)? Both should also be included in these numbers.

Here's each player's complete line vs. common opponents:

Wentz: 143 of 235 for 1,613 yards, 6.9 YPA, 13 TD, 1 INT, 98.1 passer rating
Prescott: 288 of 312 for 2,418 yards, 8.4 YPA, 13 TD, 7 INT, 96.7 passer rating

And Wentz in his other games (ATL, CHI, SEA, DAL):
100 of 153 for 917 yards, 6.0 YPA, 4 TD, 5 INT, 76.6 passer rating

But apart from some accuracy issues (Wentz is 25th in Adjusted Comp%), he hasn't played that bad.

Thanks Percy, I agree, especially with one of the worst supporting casts in the league IMO.

Reposting because the number are so fun to look at.

"4th Quarter" stats can mislead, because 4th quarter doesn't always mean close game.

Nothing misleading here, though.
Wentz 2019
4th qtr/OT, margin one score or less
29 of 55 332 yards 0 td 0 int 6.0 YPA 71.2

And this one is hard to attribute to a lack of surrounding talent, because his late-and-close numbers weren't much better going into the season.
2016-18
121 of 201 1228 yards 7 td 2 int 6.1 YPA 85.2

Wentz has always gotten much more conservative late in close games, which is one of the reasons he has so few game-winning drives.
