wentz was better last year than 2017. Team wasn’t, but he was
LOL no he wasn’t. He lost a bunch of games because he’s hot garbage in the clutch.

That doesn’t always show up in the stat sheet.

All year long we heard that the Eagles supporting cast was holding Wentz back. Then Foles stepped in and shut that nonsense up.

his ypa and completion % were both substantially better. Meaning he was throwing downfield more often and doing even better than when he wasn’t.

In order for ‘losing a bunch of games in the clutch’ to prove he declined, he’d have to have won a bunch of games in the clutch in 2017. It’s a conparison. We blew everyone out in 2017, it’s not an apt point

Why did Foles go 4-1 then?

Because he was winning the games that Wentz was losing.

Wentz was great with a STACKED team in 2017. Then he got hurt and his backup won all the playoff games.

Wentz is 17-21 in his other 3 seasons. Sorry, but he’s average.

How many career fumbles does Wentz have? More than career wins?

Edit:
Career wins: 29
Career fumbles: 40 (17 lost)

because the D played way better at the end of the season, as they are again now.

have you seen Foles in Jacksonville? He just gave up 40 to the other team, if you’re so adamant on pinning defensive success to QB success.

More fiction.

Your defense allowed 23, 30 and 0 (to the Josh Johnson-led Commanders) in their final 3 weeks last year.

No, that’s not at all better than how they performed earlier in the year.

ON THE OTHER HAND... Your offense, led by Foles, scored 30, 32 and 24 points over that span.

That’s 2 games with 30+ points in Foles’ 3 weeks. They only had ONE such game with Wentz last year.

I know that Foles is nothing special. That makes it all the more pathetic that a mediocre QB like Foles was able to outproduce your “franchise savior.”

Foles will haunt Wentz for as long as Wentz is the Eagles QB. Unfortunately for you, Wentz is a wildly inaccurate QB and a proven loser in the clutch.

No wonder there’s guys in that locker room who prefer Foles.

yet carson wentz has a higher career accuracy than Foles. Go figure.
Foles has a statue outside your stadium while Wentz was repeatedly booed off the field in your stadium today. Go figure.

Foles completed 72% last year, better than Wentz will ever do.

Yeah, Foles is average. Just like Wentz.

But at least Foles went 9-2 as an Eagles starter since 2017, including 3-0 in the playoffs.

Wentz is 28-23 as a starter and has never sniffed the playoffs. Ouch.

Oh, and Dak absolutely crushes Wentz across the entire stat sheet, but you knew that already.

And where has that gotten you? Everyone keeps telling me how amazingly clutch Dak is, yet all 5 losses are by a grand total of 22 points. Where was clutch Dak yesterday? Wentz put more up against the pats with less healthy players around him. Where was clutch Dak against the Jets when they blew you out in the first half? Against the packers When they blew you out in the first half? You can blame coaching all you want, but do you think Any of the other top QBs would only put up field goals if they had Jason Garrett? There’s no chance. Dak is in control of his own destiny.

Dak is 6-5. He’s in 1st place and on pace for his 4th winning season in 4 years as a starter.

Your QB is a loser. He’s 5-6 and on pace for his 3rd losing season in 4 years as a starter.

Dak is also better statistically across the board.

Wentz is only better statistically if we’re talking about # of injuries or # of times you’re called out in the media anonymously by your teammates. No argument from me there.

See? There’s no real way to back it up. Win and you’re clutch, even if you’re not actually very clutch in the closer losses.

Yesterday wasn't on Dak. Get real man. Yesterday was a clear indicator of how Superior coaching will get you over the hump.

You guys want Garrett? New filthy OC?

Wonder if the Wentz will ever do anything to inspire his teammates to actually support him and not sell him out to the media?

Cox and Long lighting candles for Foles at his shrine because they know he would appreciate it.

And how does this fit the narrative that Dak has lost 5 close games this year? If he wins he gets credit, if he doesn’t it’s not his fault?
The team, including Dak, hasn’t been as clutch this year for a variety of reasons. We’ve lost every close game we’ve played in.

What’s your point? Dak is clearly better than the complete loser your team employs at QB. Is that even debatable anymore?

Be honest: so you have ANY confidence that your loser QB will play well at home vs Dallas in Week 16? He shrinks in every big game he plays in and that will practically be a playoff game.

I have all the confidence in the world that Dak will play well at Philly. He’s built for it.

You state he has a winning record, then you call him a ‘complete loser’. Doesn’t quite add up. He plays and beats GB, Then Dak loses to GB, inarguably the best NFC team either has faced, and you use this as an example of how clutch Dak is and how Carson never wins the big games Dak does. So which is it?

LOL Wentz is on pace for his 3rd losing season in 4 years.

But like the trooper you are, you go right ahead and keep pretending 2017 was the norm and not the exception. Good for you!

5-6 this year, just like last year and just like the 7-9 in his rookie year.

Mediocre. Average. Loser.

Did you hear the Philly fans boo him off the field repeatedly yesterday? I did!
