What players are your winners and what players are your Whiners (who or what are you whining about)

Winners....Charlton, Awuzie, Lewis, Woods, Brown
Whining....Switzer, though I like the pick after I thought about it, but it depends on how they use him. From comments from Jason, he may not be used entirely in the Dunbar role. So I am in a wait and see approach

As for Ivie, Carrell, White, I do not know, will need to wait and see.

Read the bios on Ivie and Carroll. They fit the Rod mold to the T. High motor guys who are always around the ball.

They could beat out Thornton who is due a modest 3, 4, 4 million over 3 years.

Ivie is the new Nick Hayden for Rod. Book it

Switzer is the best player in the draft class. Just wait to he is on the field and you will see.

He could be really productive for us. 4 receiver sets could be a night mare for teams
And threaten teams in the punt game. Dude is fearless and watch for his no fair catch he does and gets others to fall for it

I like all of the players they drafted.

There were a few players that I might have considered instead, but nothing really significant.

Switzer's top value is as a punt returner. They never completely trusted Lucky in that role as evidenced by them using Beasley there in situations where ball security was super critical.

On offense, they wanted to limit the snaps played by the starters. The snaps that Lucky played on offense will go to Switzer. Also, the snaps where Dunbar played WR will also likely go to Switzer.

Finally, they needed a backup for Beasley. When you make Beasley an integral part of the game plan, then it's critical to have a good backup.

In regards to backups, I find it funny that people think the need for a backup RB is lower now that they have Zeke. In reality, if they are making the running game a bigger focus of the offense than in some past years, then having a backup RB is actually more important.

they're longshots to make the team.

and no one should be celebrating the addition of nick hayden-like players.

Im extremely happy with the entire draft. There are other players I would have preferred when we took Switzer, but he'll be a fun guy to watch and I look forward to seeing him make big plays.

My favorite pick was definitely Jourdan Lewis though. He is probably one of the top-3 pure cover guys in the entire draft.

The biggest gripe I had when we drafted Switzer (other than the constant reminder of Barry) was that we left Xavier Woods still on the board. But since we drafted Woods anyway, I'm more than happy with Switzer.

He's going to have to have better ball security, though, or he won't be returning punts.

Right, he had something like 11 fumbles in college. Not sure if that is a total, or from last year. Hope it's a total, but still high.
However, Lucky had his fumble issues also, and reduced those as he cam along with more playing time.

I stand behind it and said months ago I would draft him in the first round
You're serious. I guess you know and I can't wait to see him play. All I've seen is highlights and they do look good.

This type of player is killing teams more and more. Looking forward to your prediction being true. Although, I like Lewis too for most productive.

I didn't mean guys like Lewis and Taco won't produce. I think this class can be as good or better then last year
