Whining....Switzer, though I like the pick after I thought about it, but it depends on how they use him. From comments from Jason, he may not be used entirely in the Dunbar role.

Depends on how they use him? Clearly KR, PR and WR.

What is the Dunbar role? I didn't hear Jason say anything about that.

One of the Cowboys themes in recent years is to find players that drop in the draft because the way they were used in college didn't showcase their best skills.

M. Collins and Tapper both fit that definitely last year.

This year Ivie and Carrell seem to fit that category this year. Carrell was a 3-4 DE and run contain was his primary job. He did have 5.5 sacks, but it appeared that having the DEs rush the passer was an afterthought in that defense. The DL took on the OL and free up the OLBs.

Even Taco was limited by the scheme. The Michigan DEs were really focused on outside run contain including QB contain.

Add Neal to that list too.

Switzer is the best player in the draft class. Just wait to he is on the field and you will see.

He may give the biggest bang for the buck in terms of immediate impact. Sirius NFL was talking about this earlier today.

Winners - our team ! Can you imagine the competition at training camp this year ?
From photo's I have seen, Lucky has bulked up quite a bit. I am not giving Switzer his spot, he will have to go and take it. And if he does, all the better for the team. Same as most of these picks, they will be challenging vets for their spots this year from Taco to the 3 CBs. And that's how it should be, I bet late last night a lot of players on our team were thinking "Holy Hell, I'm gonna have to play my *** off this training camp".
This was not the spectacular draft last years was, but man it was solid I think all the picks down to the 7th rounders have a chance to make the squad or PS. That's a great thing.
Oh, and one last comment, we have also upgraded our ST units as well, everyone except Taco and Awuzie should be playing on special teams this year.

I think Lucky might as well pack his bags. Unless some other players get injured he won't make the 53. I don't think it is all football related. I think he missed a flight or something like that last year. The Turk will likely be paying him a visit.

I hope he becomes a stud for us but we admit we reached on him. That's not a very good sign.
