You think he's running a 4.7 now?Ummmmm, no, not even close. Prescott is of the 4.7 variety.

NO raosn its not minor, its more than a minor upgrade but his deal is a huge dead cap hit you can't JUST get rid of Dak without MAJOR cap complication and Dak controls whether he goes or not, NO TRADE Clause.;.Let Prescott pass like he's supposed to. Have a balanced offense with Dak passing. There is absolutely no reason to keep Dak at QB if he's just a minor upgrade to Cooper Rush. I know he's better than Rush, but he has to prove it. This game would be a good start.
Doubtful, but the statement was made that he was similar to Lamaar and Kyler at one point. That has never been the case, he has never been close to those two.You think he's running a 4.7 now?
Now that is very well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!If you want Rush to start again, this is a great plan to have that happen.

I still maintain that Prescott is right up there with Lamar and Murray when it come to athleticism, agility and raw speed.
I know several here may point out 40 speed but Dak has football speed. Kind of like Cooper Kupp but with more hip fluidity. Some here have made fun of those hip twist exercises that Prescott has done but it’s really the key to his agility
I can see 5-6 designed runs and he WILL average 10 yards a run. Make bank on it
He is easily a sub 4.7 and he runs with flippers on. Come on man be serious.
Ouch, that's gonna leave a mark!https://cowboyszone.com/threads/wit...-the-football-much-more.502080/#post-12234877
Actually Tony blocks as good as any other tailback, Zeke blocks like a full back, and coincidentally he runs like one

so what your saying is sit a better player over money or trade him for a huge cap hit to play ho to be elsewhere, we would pay most of his salary its in bonus and guaranteed money. Come on!! LOL Daks better , no matter to a degree most wont agree on but come on , Daks our guy for 2 seasons more before hes even tradeable, eat his $$ for Rush who would have us at 500 if he played 17, that's fact, he was begining to get exposed more each week he played.
dak doesn't need to run but hey if its there, take it lie that first play last week would like to see him go get 10 and gain some confidence. .no need to force it.
that was dak at his worse last week, which is Rushes best, keep that in mind. if 75% compl% 200 yards and No T/Os 114 QBR is considered bad half the Legues in trouble at qb this year because that better then then most. dont forget the DC 90s team #8 had half his games just like that.. seriously. those are Aikman like stats when you run hard and often and play strong defense and your FG kicker makes most of his kicks..
Dak will improve each week IMHO weve seen dak pout up huge number but if he can do what he did lat week in wins , why is that bad thing? did that also with an OL once again getting beat and getting penalized, had huge catch fumbled at the 5 by Brown etc etc etc
Prescott ran a 4.79. Why do you think he's "easily" a sub 4.7 guy? Where does that come from?He is easily a sub 4.7 and he runs with flippers on. Come on man be serious.

yet now daks last 3 drives 17-19 and 3 tds..right hes just a tad better then rush,,LOL come on man, when has rush scored a td on the opening drive let alone b2b Tds and have those stats? daks dropping dimes today , is he perfect, nope..is he elite, nope but hes 10x better then rush, YES Daks our starter..Don't get me wrong, I am much closer to your line of thinking, even though I have less faith in our offense than you. It's not just Dak.
I'm also fully aware of his contract. My comments were more towards giving him an extension. He's actually up for one after next year. But knowing Jerry, he'll wait until after 2024.
