Do you think they will be a disaster forever, not trying to be funny really putting the OP's question to what it is.
I suspect that they will be bad for a long time. They don't have a qb going forward and they are hard to come by.

I get that but whats a long time? are we talking 3 years 10 years, again the OP's question is compared to 27 years, thats why i said not trying to be funny but the question has merit.

No, I'll take a Super Bowl win the way they are doing it.
Rambo they are not winning SB's the way they are doing it, we are closer to the jets than the Rams if you go by SB's in the last 27 years, thats why i said its a real question.

They currently have as good a chance as any team in the NFC.

I'll bet that the Rams don't do anything for a decade.

What’s your point?

They are a disaster, but they won the Superbowl less than 2 years ago! They have been in 2 Superbowls in the last 5 years.

Do you have a point?
Yes, they suck and their fans are going to hate it. Also, the Cowboys are good and will be in the mix this year.

Sounds like we have some fans that don’t believe in going all in! Kinda like Jerry.

With our legacy( 5 Superbowl wins and 8 Superbowl appearances) or even without our legacy( the Rams legacy), I would go ALL in with the team we have right now!

Our legacy right now, is just below, New England and Pittsburghs legacies, and equal to the Whiners legacy. Everyone else is looking up at our legacy. This is after 27 LONG years of failure in the playoffs!!

I know some of you don’t think we can win a Superbowl with Dak, but WE can!
I know our D played well in the playoffs, but we all know, it could have played better( the long drive the Whiners had, the Whiners scored easily before the half). The D needs a couple of elite pieces to be a TRULY dominant D. We need an elite run stuffing DT to pair with Hankins, an elite LBer, Bobby Wagner, to free up Micah( add 15 pounds and rush the passer more) and possibly an upgrade at CB, though I do like our young CB’s.

With a few moves for the Defense, we will still have the draft capital, FA, and possible trades to improve our offense( a 2nd receiver, possible upgrades on the O line, and a middle round draft choice to replace Zek)

With a truly DOMINANT D and a strong running game, Dak can JUST drive the bus.

We need to go all in THIS YEAR to STRENGTHEN our LEGACY!

A SUPERBOWL victory puts us at the top of the NFL mountain!!!
What’s does all in mean to you?

Does signing Wagner and a 20m DT mean we’re going all in?

Other than that we can pick up what we need in the draft. Maybe sign a veteran WR or RB

Not sure what all in means but they do need to sign a couple first level free agents or via trade or some other means.

Im a big fan just like you and completley get you backing the players but if i'm honest... there is no discussion on who has done better as a franchise the past 27 years, right?

To be honest, the Cowboys are in much better shape currently as I type this. I care about the current results and outlook.

No, as well. For 1 SB......risk vs reward. Rams now have endured injuries and purging.......for 1 SB. Prefer building a dynasty, instead of attempting to buy one.

I really need you guys to stop using pharmaceuticals and posting.

The Rams were a Super Bowl team with Jared Goff and decided if they had that much talent on hand it made sense to go all-in.
That made sense. It worked. But it was also costly.

Dallas is a top 10 roster but close to 10 today and no where near top 2.
Going all-in would be a fool's errand right now. You might make it to top 5 but aren't close to guaranteeing a NFCCG much less Super Bowl.
They could draft well and then see the team week 6 and decide to go all-in then.
But you need to see this roster provide that type of promise.
Dallas badly needs another A draft class and to make a few good free agent decisions just to get this thing back into the top 5-6 roster category.

Fans need to use their brains and not some insane notion of reality that doesn't exist.

There is a time and place to go all-in but it is a rare place and the decisions have lasting impacts.
See Denver for example.

Winning a SB to then be a 5-win team for 3 years doesn't make us top of anything beyond the 3-4 months after we won the Super Bowl.
And rings mean absolutely zero when you take the field next.
The entire point is to compete every day and win every day.
31 teams fall short each season but only 5-6 fail to compete at all.
Not being those 5-6 is what truly matters.
