I am predicting another 9-7, if things fall the right way, 10-6 and if few things fall the wrong way 8-8 season.

If we're good then that's great.

If we're terrible then that's great too. Free up some Sundays, better draft pick, and hopefully a new coach.


If we stay healthy I think we'll be pretty good. Here are my reasons.

1. I think we play really good defense. If i'm wrong about this then I take back my predictions because i'm banking on this defense being a top 3-5 unit.

We're really a well built team and potentially have a formula that is proven.. strong defense, strong run game, efficient pass game.

6-10. worst WR/TE group in the entire league. Coaching provides no advantage on game day. Frederick loss weakens the strongest unit on the team.

For all the talk of better depth, and learning from the past, this FO has no clue how to roster build.

Other than that, I'm optimistic.

If Beard comes back soon and no one gets injured, they can easily go 10-6 or 11-5.

If Beard misses most of the season and they have one other key injury (which almost every team has), I can see 8-8 or even 7-9.

I'm going down the 11-5 to 12-4 road, although there seems to be a purple-ish colour tinge on my drinks these days.
A strong run game and a tighter defence should keep most opposing folks off the fields long enough for us to chalk up this record.
I'm setting aside some holiday time for Arlington in January.
