They need someone who will accept a backup role and play for the "right" amount of money as well as be an acceptable backup.

I doubt Simms is ready to pack in his dreams of being a starter in the NFL. Maybe Bollinger is happy with holding a clipboard and going to meetings as well as telling chicks he's a QB for the Dallas Cowboys.

Are you serious?

The fans are going to be clamoring for Simms or Culpepper if Romo struggles in a game or two?

Romo with one arm and one leg is still better than these two JAGs.

absolutely. not in a game or two. i was around when we had the danny white/gary hogeboom controversy. if Tony falters in a playoff game and we have Simms on the team, fans will clamor galore. white took the team to the playoffs from 1980 to 1983 and yet in 1984 we turned the qb over to hogeboom. missed the playoffs for the 1st time in like 10 years and pretty much wasted a year with that move. landry gave the job back to white at the end of that season and through 1987.

What a revolting turn of events at 3rd QB.

Let's just go with 2 like last year and save the roster spot.

Somebody give us an "Amen Brother".
