He certainly was when he was in his prime/age like those you have listed. Let's see if your top 5 STILL play lights out at the age of Witty, 35yrs old. The man has ELEVEN pro bowls under his belt & STILL going strong.

Your top five are far from being realistic. You don't even have one of the most underrated and best TE's to ever play the game listed. Tony Gonzalez. Which has 14 pro bowls under his belt. Received his last one in 2013, the year he retired at the age of 37.

Those so called top 5 combined probably won't even earn as many as Witty let and Gonzalez. Witty's not even retired yet. That's 25 Pro Bowls combined by only two players.
They just don't make them anymore like they use to. :muttley:
Ummm.....the sad thing about your post is that you somehow thought his list was an all time list....those are just guys still playing TODAY. The guys he listed are all better than Witten is now and it doesn't matter how well they play at 35 years old...because Jason Witten at 35 was definitely not playing "lights out." Here are some other guys he didn't list that are also playing better than Witten:

Delanie Walker
Cameron Brate
Hunter Henry
OJ Howard
Heck, I'll even include rookie Evan Ingram

All of these guys (and the guys from the previous list) are having a more positive impact on the field than Witten at this point.

Mama said he got all them catches and no yards
7th overall..it includes yards..his YPC is on par with all the other tes near him..i looked it up you need a link? hes isn't an elite guy like ertz, gronk, and KC pass catcher type but as a TE he still ranks high..stop disrespecting your own players from your own team that got accolades with a PB berth and you want to rip it apart without real facts..hes 7th in the league yes most of the good Tes were in the NFC this year even the east but that doesn't change the fact that he still producing like a regular player , hes simply slipped few spots from elite..pretty good for 35 year old that practically never leaves the field or misses games..

He averaged 35 yards a game and 8.9 yards a catch. Thats horrible
