Wolf Hunter- Leighton Vander Esch

We've all seen this over and over in the NFL. It is a contract year. Said player is putting a little bit more out, playing a little more with an edge. This is LVE. His financial future is staring at him. He can play to be comfortable or he can set his family up for the future.

I like LVE. I really liked him as a rookie when he showed speed and intuitiveness. He's more of a plodder now, frequently gets influenced out of the play, and rarely thumps on a tackle. He is a B to B- LB'er.

He’s not bad but we need a little more speed there. He knows football and that works to his advantage but he’s a step slow to me about 30% of the time

He’s bad. Too slow. Tackles means nothing - he’s making plays why down field.
Ray Lewis complained about his DT play in 2005. The Ravens drafted a DT in the first round a year later. Point is... a MLB can't be good against the run if the DT's in front of him are being pushed back.

Even Parsons looks bad behind our DT's. So are you going to talk bad about Parsons now?

Pretty much all the negativity I have with LVE revolves around his inability to take on/ get off blocks. He's great in space and when he gets a clean run he can rack up tackles but couldn't you say that about most NFL LB's?

I'm gonna quote your post so you can't delete and say you didn't say something this stupid.
You're seriously gonna tell me how many run stops at the LOS he's making?
I would love for him to be what he was before, but he's not that guy anymore.

My main complaint with him install is he doesn't fill the right hole. Lacks the instincts he seemed too as a rookie.

The plat at 50 seconds sums it up

He made 2 decent plays today. Hes so bad no other team offered him money and resigned here for only a 1 year deal
