Wolf Hunter- Leighton Vander Esch

He is probably learning some from playing with Parsons. That’s what they mean when they say a player elevates a team. Elevating a team is more than just leadership and morale boosting personalities. Players like Parsons can elevate the play of others through teaching and just observation.

makes you wonder what characteristics in Parsons make him so much better?
Training?
Better workouts?
Study?
Determination?
DNA?

LVE had the kind of game you would expect for his position and time in the league, unfortunately he doesn't do it very often which is why he is being celebrated in this thread which of course is silly. He's the weak link on a very very good defense.

Someone literally posts he played well after every game and it just isn’t true…

LVE looks like an old man out there. We should draft MLB high if opportunity presents itself.

I don't know what to make of LVE. Get's in on alot of plays but seems a step late. Can run sideline to sideline but never shoots gaps well. Suprising since they will blitz him. He also seems to be a block magnet. He'll actively engage a lineman instead of try to avoid them. Gets washed out of plays. Seems pretty reliable this year. Hopefully he's past his injuries.

And also,he has the second most tackles on the team this year behind Wilson.

Don't know what tape you watching:facepalm: LVE is the weak link to a great defense. He and the defensive tackles.

Has never been the same player after the rook year. Got hurt, got married and got paid ..

Thought LVE had a solid game yesterday. Nothing special, but I don't think he brings the defense down at all either. I doubt the Cowboys bring him back next season, in fact this seems like the perfect solid player with an in house replacement that the Cowboys get a decent comp pick out of. It's the Jones formula.

For this year though I think hes been a solid B- type player.

He made some pretty good tackles yesterday. Where were you?
He made like 2 good plays I saw. The rest of the time he was sucking it up. Go rewatch the game and focus on him......I have no dog in this argument. I just want the defense to get better. I also called out the DT's. They were just as bad IMO.

He's morphed into Jaylon Smith. Get's outmuscled by TE's. Bad angles. Change of direction and acceleration have taken more steps back. In a word: Soft.

But damn if he doesn't get in on the dogpiles, tackle 7-8 yards down the field and do his signature Wolf Howl for the idiots in the Owner's Booth..

Lmao at people citing the number of tackles as proof of his good play.

I swear half our fan base is forever stuck in 1995.
Either 1995 or some alternate universe where the cowboys have dominated for the last 20 years.

That's the problem, the DT's. I'm with you on that.
