I will never fall for it again. I will not believe in this team under the ownership of Jerry Jones, or his family ever again. I will not drink the Kool-Aid. I will not eat the cheese. As long as Jerry Jones puts a football team together, I will wait-and-see. I’m done. 60 years a fan!
I've felt like this for at least the last 10 years. Welcome to my world. ;)

How did you feel after the inevitable loss in the playoffs. Good? Man those double digit wins felt great. I feel bad that you once again will have your hollow victory of wins and I will feel s hitty after the 9ers kick our a rses in the playoffs again. Inevitable
Lol

Here’s the difference between SF GM John Lynch and our GM:
  • John Lynch builds a roster and coaching staff to win a championship.
  • Jerry builds a roster and staff to be “relevant”. Sure he would like to win a SB but that isn’t the top goal.
  • Lynch works 12 months a year.
  • Our GM works but today it may be on the next concert or tractor pull at the “stayjum”.
  • If after a few years, Lynch is unable to deliver a championship he will be replaced.
  • If the Cowboys lose every game the rest of this season and next, a person named Jones will still be the GM.
Could not have said this better myself.

Like I said in a different thread; Jones is a dictator running a Banana Republic.

The biggest disappointment for me Sunday night was the Cowboys offensive line. With all 5 starters back in the lineup for the first time, I expected to see better pass protection and more holes for the running game. I saw neither.
^^^^^ what he said^^^^^

You might not fall for it again next year, but this place will be crawling with Nostradameus' relatives proclaiming how well this team is built and how we can win the division, NFCC, and Superbowl. It happens every year...the sheeples come out in droves only to have their hopes crushed. It's the funniest thing to watch.

Every offseason it's the same thing. And all of us that don't fall for it will be called haters and eagle fans. It's predictable.

I am here too. This was the last year form me, and I have been a fan for about 35 years. The obvious solution is to have the Jones family step down from management and hire professional football guys to do it. With our talent, I think it's just a 1-2 year turnaround getting all levels of management and coaching on the SAME PAGE at the same time.

But it will never happen because the family has a money making machine they don't want to disturb, and that is ultimately more important to them. Hard to fault them as long as fans keep coming back for more despite the lack of success. I eluded to this in a post before the season and was called out for it, but I think the points stands and is more obvious now for anyone watching with a critical eye.
more than the $ jerry likes pretending to be gm, and getting asked questions etc. It all feeds his ego which is huge, so it needs a lot of feeding.
He will never step down or sell the team, he is addicted to the role he plays with cowboys.

the roster failures are real. The roster mismanagement is telling. We have 1 linebacker available. JUST 1. The offensive line is banged up, old and not very good. We have areas that are woefully thin and lacking. Pollard is decent but he clearly isnt the answer. He needs a complimentary rb. We try to run him between the tackles and he can't. Some of that is the line, some of it is him. He needs to be in space. Like it or not, we need to find another rb and also play Deuce & Luepke. Gotta start using the fullback. 0 choice.

It’s so depressing but true. I would have never believed it if you told me 28 years ago that we’d still be trying to win a Div playoff game 28 years later.

Thank God I just received my ten year, Jones-sober, sobriety medallion last week. Ten years since I believed we could win a Div playoff game. Ten years since I spent any money on anything Cowboys. And ten years since I emotionally got involved with the team.

They need to gag Jerry for the remainder of the year. No other team has to overcome all this Jones circus to try to win. What a disaster (part XXVIII).

I didn't believe the hype in TC, now I know it extends to the regular season.

I have to admit that I did eat the cheese this year until the AZ game. I knew to never eat the cheese during the Garrett Dark Ages. The Big Mike con job worked on me.
