Wonderlick Test

------Other guys with high scores: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ben Watson, Tom Brady, Zeke (yes, Zeke),

Zeke went to Ohio State....someone no doubt supplied him with the answers, or took it for him.

I think the lowest score was some RB from Iowa State years ago....I'm too lazy right now to look up his name......watching Barney Miller.

Ive taken one of these before around combine time and thought it was similar to the ASVAB when I was younger.

35, first time through this time. I guess I rushed because I had a minute to spare, couldve taken more time on questions I wanted to write out some of the math.

Not sure, but I think Romo (37) and Frederick (34) are the Cowboys all-time top scores,

Other guys with high scores: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ben Watson, Tom Brady, Zeke (yes, Zeke),

Why did you put (yes, Zeke). Was it assumed he was dumb or something?

I scored 27. It said I completed 27 questions. I shoulda skipped some and went for easier ones

Morris Claiborne scored a 4? Really? LOL
He got the 4 for signing his name. then he bugged out. Didn't try is what I've been told several times.

You know that has enough quit in it to tell you not to draft him that high. At the NFL level heart, and up-bringing come into play. Quit=0 That's bad on the Jones boys.

Bragging about him actually.
Yes, some people mistakingly think he's average (or below?) with the way he acted at times in the past. I was not one of those people.
The same exact thing applies to Gronk...he also got a strong score but some might think he wouldn't due to him seeming like a knucklehead at times.

Nobody, for example, would be surprised if you said Byron Jones got a great score. The perception of Zeke has been a bit different.

Does that clear it up for you?

Zeke is or has been very immature at times which can get confused as not as intellectual as most would hope. The boy is not dumb. He is just growing into his skin. I'll give him "This one time at band camp" just for fun. These kids are killing me, Emmitt was the man from day one!

I can't stand Elliott with a passion but I never once thought of him as being dumb.

If anything, quite the opposite.

He didn't give himself that contract, he simply asked for it.
He actually is quite smart and could have gotten an academic scholarship besides the athletic one coming out of high school.

I discovered, first hand, that there is little connection between intelligence and common sense with my second son. I am not sure which it is. He is either the dumbest smart person I know or the smartest dumb person.

I have a hard time getting down on Elliott, I thought life owed me a party all the time too and I wasn't a 21 year old millionaire. I did enough damage on a budget.

I got a 31 but I just guessed at the folding the diagram into a box on what letter would fall at the X. I don't do stuff like that very well. Very well is an understatement.

When I joined the Naval Reserve, they gave us these placement tests to see where we best fit and I don't remember all of the sections except I do remember the mechanical.

When I arrived at the station after taking the tests, the Chief called me into his office. He said "you scored really well, in the top 5%, on everything except the mechanical aptitude". Then he opens a drawer and takes out a screwdriver and holds it up. He said "do you know what this"? I looked at him and said "it's a screwdriver". Then he said "very good but do you know which end to use"? He starts laughing like an idiot. He told me he just had to share my results with the other guys there because they'd never seen anything like it.

However, my lack of mechanical aptitude has served me well as my "Honey Do" list never consisted of anything dangerous or that might cost us more money after I "fixed it".

What's the world coming to when you can't think about something for a minute? Have we really gotten in that big of a hurry? Give me 20 mins and i'm all good. Hell, 30 secs is nothing. My old mind can process but, sheesh.
