Peppers stripped him with one arm robbing the Pokes of a touchdown that would have clinched the game.
For all the good he did, he left a lot of yards on the field and cost us at least the first and last games of last year with turnovers.
MacFadden was a high 1, Williams a high 2, and Randle was probably two rounds better than he went due to knucklehead syndrome which he still demonstrates. No one after round two was better raw talent than this trio. And after all, raw/projected talent is all the draft is about.
I don't think Murray was the back to get us to the next level. He proved that in Green Bay.

I don't think Murray left that many yards on the field. If he had he would have set the record for most yards in a season and I don't think that was the case........

Murray is good and was an excellent complimentary back to the Cowboys offensive line. He fit in very well with what the line can do. I believe had he stayed in Dallas that he wouldn't have been as productive in 2015. It would not have been surprising to see his production drop by a significant margin(20% or greater) just because he had such a great year in 2014. Few backs in the NFL have truly great back-to-back season in terms of yardage production. Still he could have been a good back for Dallas for a few more years, but just not at the price tag he got from Philly. Dallas will have a task to get the running game going. I don't look at it as replacing Murrary, but rather just developing a strong running game by different means.

Won't, don't and never did miss Murray. He's a bum without the Cowboys O-line. Now it's time for all the closet Eagles fans that pretend to be Cowboys fans to defend him. I know the type, they can't resist.

Franchise QB. Check.
Dynamic Game changer at WR. Check.
One of the best Oline in the game. Check.

We dont need a top 5 offense to win a superbowl remember that...

Again, for like the millionth time, all statistics prove that Murray did just as much as the offensive line. Calling him a "bum" is extreme bias.

Did the line allow him over 50 receptions for over 400 yards? Did the offensive line break the tackles for him? The did line give him nearly 1,000 yards AFTER contact?

There's not liking a player, then there is completely ignoring all telling statistics because of an agenda. Murray will be missed with this RB group of knuckleheads and glass.

He will be missed ... but I think the right decision was made by the Cowboys. You can't retain everybody. Just surprised we didn't draft a back, but heck New England doesn't seem to put an emphasis on the RB position and they are a very successful.

New England has a completely different scheme than us. They still rely on Brady's arm, he throws over 600 times or close to 600 times nearly every year. It's easy to get away with RBC when you're doing that, same with New Orleans.

The Cowboys O line is great, but this notion that they made Murray is nonsense. He will be missed and we'll see that on 3rd downs this year.

They rely on passes that are nothing but forward handoffs.

First game? Didn't realize it was Murray who was throwing the 3 interceptions.

Not entirely sure what your point is. They are still a pass first team, whether they are more for short passes or going vertical. It doesn't change their offensive philosophy. It's completely different than what we had in 2014.

With all those faults considered, he was still better than all the current RBs combined. I was not s big Murray fan, but he will be missed.
