What???? Would you take significantly less money to do the same job you are doing? Everyones answer is no dont be that guy

Take the highest salary you can get but in Zeke’s case that’s almost certainly a pay cut.

I foresee another Demarcus Lawrence situation where next year Zeke takes a pay cut and sticks around so everyone can save face.

If you look at Lawrence’s contract, he really didn’t take a pay cut. I am actually amazed at the deal he managed to negotiate.

There is such a thing as a contract. Have you looked at Zeke's contract?

I think what he means is no one else is going to pay him north of 10 million a year. He has 11 million left in guarantees on his deal and is slated to make 16 million next year. If he gets cut, on the high end he's making what 7-8 million a year on a new contract.

I'll answer that when you answer this.

How much would wood a wouldchuck chuck if a wouldchuck could chuck would?

"How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"

You're slipping, my man! Lol

Are you pondering my bet I made to you about you saying Atlanta will blow us out in the wildcard game?

I hope he does. Hopefully he recognizes he’ll never get 10 million again unless it’s on incintives
Would you take a pay cut knowing you could could get another job tomorrow making huge money?
Personally I’d sign pollard and move on from Zeke
Jerry on the other hand might not do that
But also the only thing you can cut is his base salary which is 10.9 next year and 10 the following year
How much of a cut do you think he would take anyway? If you cut it in half he’s still expensive against the cap because of the other money

Yes and No. His guaranteed went up but he went from 2 for 40 to 3 for 40.

If he was still an elite player, he would have negotiated a proper 3rd year and still of gotten the guaranteed he wanted (so 3 for 65 and still gotten the guaranteed he wanted)

I am actually amazed at the deal he managed to negotiate.
I mean it was a good deal for both sides so I don't really think it was shocking. Cowboys pay that same 40 million but get 3 years instead of 2 and he gets more guaranteed which lowers the chance of him getting cut which is moot because for 3 for 40 he's not likely to get cut since that's a good price

Zekes still the better back, I just want him to stay 3 more years. He needs to stay long enough for Tyron and Tyler to get a full season together. Then he’ll go back to getting 100 every other game:
Wouldn’t be worth it at that point. Zeke doesn’t hit the hole fast enough.

No other team is going to give an aging running back anywhere near that

He's not worth getting paid half what he does.
