Worst Movies Of All Time

Flash Gordon. Intended to be serious. An attempt at another Star Wars. But instead you get Timothy Dalton running around space in a robin hood costume, the worst special fx you've ever seen, and Queen's cheesy soundtrack. Thus, the definition of a sci-fi C movie. I feel sorry for Dalton.

WAIT JUST A MINUTE BUSTER! You didn't like Flash Gordon??

Copper Mountain and Rubber Face - Both Jim Carrey flics.

I actually loved his version. Is it the original, no, but it's a damn good flick.

It is certainly not the original.

I forgot about that one! Epic badness.

My wife loves that movie and I just

Flash Gordon is B Movie Greatness!

I consider a movie "bad" when I go in thinking it's going to be awesome, and then it really sucks. The kind of movie that has the best trailer in the world, and then you realize that that's where they spent all their money.

With Flash, you know going in that it's going to be cheesy, but that's the best part of it!

It lives up to that label :laugh2:

Starship Troopers 2

The first Starship Troopers is complete awesomeness but they really screwed the pooch with part 2.

Really? The second one was pretty good. Are you thinking about part 3? That one sucked pretty bad. The graphics were not as good.

They were both pretty bad.

The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood

I really enjoyed that one (and the book.) Probably more of a chick flick.

Me too, I can't believe this one came up. Unreal.

I so wanted to like this movie. I love Kubrick and most of his films, FMJ is one of my all time favorites. I also really like McDowell and find him to be an interesting and captivating actor. Quirky, offbeat movies are also a favorite of mine so I thought I would really enjoy this movie but I found it to be obnoxiously stupid. I was so disappointed that I turned it off. I just couldn't take anymore.

Pi
The Happening
Eyes Wide Shut
The Thin Red Line
Blade Runner
_____ Movie, etc. (Most of the Scary Movie films, disaster movie, date movie, vampires suck, etc. With the exception of Not Another Teen Movie).

Obviously there are many films worse than most of these, but these are the ones that stick out in my mind enough to say off the top of my head.

It was just one of those movies whose only purpose is to spend two hours trying to evoke a deep emotional response and, for me at least, it failed miserably. I'm not a chick flick fan, but I can recognize a good one (For instance, "The Notebook" was a well made movie that succeed in trying to evoke emotion in the viewer).

I have heard the book was much better than the movie, though. Not that I'd ever read it :laugh2:

And call me crazy, but I didn't enjoy Avatar at all.

Nobody is going to tell you Avatar is the best movie ever. It was more a showcase of movie making technology, and Cameron has said as much.

It's not a regular movie at all, so I can see that. My cousin did the same thing when I put it in for him. He said turn it off. The book is great as well, though.

Most people who read the book will agree that Eragon was a poorly made movie. It by no means gives the book justice whatsoever. Overall the movie is a pile of doo doo when compared to the book.

Also, an absolutely horrible movie: Tropic Thunder.
