Would anyone be opposed to Chris McAllister as a Cowboy?

We should have hired him when we had the opportunity. He is without a doubt one of the best DB coaches in football. Everywhere he goes, the defensive backs get turnovers. He helped as player and has been golden for the Ravens.

Ah, you had to go and remind us how Jerry f-ed that one up. I don't see how the powers that be preferred Maxie over Thurman, unbelievable.


Jerry could have still brought in his pet poodle as an assistant, valet, towel boy, etc.


As for McCallister, I am wondering just how much he has left if even his old coach Rex Ryan has not brought him in for a look yet. But I would not be adverse to bringing him in as a 4th CB/backup FS, as long as he understands his role.

Anthony Henry is on the Detroit Lions roster. Chris McAllister is a Free Agent.

There's a pretty wide gap in the situations there.

You have to live under a rock to not know Henry was traded for Kitna in the off-season. That much goes without saying. I was referencing an oft-injured corner back past his prime. That would describe both Henry, McAllister and a whole slew of other players not needed on this roster.

Baltimore Ravens Chris McAlister Really Pimped His Ride…Or Rig

The new SportsRumblings Blog is only two posts old, but already has a gem about the Ravens’ Chris McAlister who showed up to mini-camp is a truly pimped out truck. McAlister has an enormous, chromed-out Ford F-650:


This one isn’t McAlister - but gives you an idea of how massive these things are (oh yeah - this one costs $94,000):

According to LuxuryLaunches, “There are 5 different models of the Ford F650 available, with seating for 4 to 12 (in seatbelts!). The Ford F650 gets 17mpg at a 70mph cruising speed! After having seen this, I do not want that guy anywhere near my team.

Personally, I think Brooking has looked good this preseason. Much better than Zach Thomas, IMO. Not to mention we got Brooking pretty darn cheap.
