that's funny -- b/c some stories at the time noted that Bill was very much interested in Henson and he kept checking in with Jerry leading up to the trade to see if progress was being made. Bill's manner with young qb's is universally gruff. it doesn't mean anything

But, I'm called a Bill basher and I don't believe this at all. In fact I "testified" that during the pre season game against the Cardinals that Bill was smiling and patting him on the shoulders and said "good job."
