I don't think anyone can say for sure what Bill would do if this situation came about. I know we have many so called Bill experts but the fact is he has drafted QB with high picks and Bill has played a QB as a rookie.

Bill did draft Chad Pennington (although he also had three other first round picks that same year).

You have a point with not knowing if they are any good or not (Leinart,Young,Cutler) but you build teams thru the draft.

At some point, we need to address the QB of the future. And BP is not thinking about the future, but Jerry Jones is. If we barely tip-toe into the playoffs and get run out in the 1st round, I think Jerry will lose his patience and trust for big Bill.

Believe me, I'm looking at Lawson first on my list. But it's a serious question to consider if you're Jerry Jones.

You never know who's going to slip, or the top guns may not slip, but just in case it happens, I'd be anxious to see what Jerry and Parcells' does.
