Maybe you could go to a karaoke bar where patrons are singing Mike Vick songs. :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Oh wait! You just went in there to get something to eat. The microphones weren't even set up yet. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

The night before he met with Reality!

OK, I guess we can wait until someone else gets arrested. Hopefully it won't involve animals. But........., now that I think of it, someone getting busted for beastiality would be a great discussion!
You have a cruel streak a mile wide.

I say that in pure envy.

This will help reduce the number of Vick outbreaks:

Careful though, it's still possible to pass it on.

I am not really posing this question.... Dana from ESPN mentioned(Jerry, the giver of 2nd chances).... until I would never have really considered that Jerry would do it... would he?

They were talking about Vick as KR, PR, WR-hybrid, RB....

Just curious.... is Jerry that much of a risk taker?

Jerry only takes chances with self destructive guys ...... not guys who apparently like to inflict pain.

Dana(Jacobson, or whatever her name is) needs to SLOWLY put down that crack pipe and walk away.

To this date, I'm still made at Jerrah for signing TO-but at least TO can play.

I doubt he would. The risk far outweighs the possible reward.

Would there really be that much risk in 2009, the probable year that Vick would be able to come back? I don't think so. I am not saying I want Dallas to sign Vick when that time comes. I just don't think it will be risky when that time comes for any team that shows interest. He won't be commanding a high salary or anything. And not that the reward is all that high either, but I just don't see it being far outweighed by the risk. Seems like any team that signs him will be able to cover their back ends with a minimum salary contract and maybe a few incentives.

A lot can change in two or more years. Maybe Vick will find his way and learn something. Maybe he will get shanked. Maybe he will shank someone and tag on a bunch of years to his sentence.

I could see this happening. Although... dont be so sure that he wont command a high salary. Remember when TO was NEVER gonna get paid... he was gonna be signed(if at all) for peanuts and incentive laden based contract.

I don't see any way in the world he would be back for the 2009 season. He won't go to jail unitl his legal issues are taken care of. I don't see him getting a year. I'd imagine he's going to get at least 18 months, which works out to a but over 15 months with good behavior. He probably won't start serving time until later in the season. You almost have to believe that he gets another year from Goodell or more. That's three seasson, which puts him at 2010 minimum.

I don't know why we would want to unless we are in need of a RB. Vick is not that great of a QB take away his running ability and the guy is nothing. Chances are he will also miss the next 2 seasons so your looking at the 09 season at the earliest. Myself I don't think Vick will ever play another down in the NFL.

Two very different situations. Even if you forget about the reasons why Vick is going to prison, Vick is going to be away from the game for 2 or 3 years. That is a lot. TO was only away for about half a season. Teams also may not look at Vick to be a QB when he returns. He would have to learn a new position. There is no reason a team would have to offer him big money unless they just want to make sure to out bid another team. Vick will have no leverage when he wants to come back.

None of what you wrote above can be said with any certainty. Too many moving parts there.

Believe me, wasn't comparing the two. Mentioning that #81 got the "behave yourself" yearly deal the one YoMick didn't mention.
