Would love to see Trey Lance with CeeDee and the starters

It could be awesome, but for which team? Opposing DC's and players would love to see Lance out there too.

If memory serves , Lance played against the Raiders first teasers and did well.

If he threw 5 picks in the final preseason game vs 2nd and 3rd string players, I don't think he would fare very well vs starters.

Dude is a certified scrub, a one read QB who in year 8, the coach had to dumb down the offense once again for him only to change it and force feed Lamb after the bye and getting absolutely trounced by the 49ers only to play against the same style defense of quarter coverages by the Packers and got trounced again..

And Yet with all these yards and the top ranked TO defense in the league never got close to breaking 40 TD passing, while getting to play the absolute worst pass defenses of the league in the Commanders, Giants and Eagles with the best OL and among the best WRs crews in the league..

Can’t even make it anywhere near the top unless he’s playing an NFC East division opponent with the worst pass defense in the the league in the last game of the season after that team rested its starters..

LOL, best OL in the league? This isn't 2017. He has 37 and 36 TD passes in the last 3 years. Only a handful of QBs have ever put up those kinds of numbers and all are or will be in the Hall of Fame. 1. Yes, he has absolutely had one of the best OL in the league.

2. So what? He threw 8 TDs against the Commanders last year in meaningless games and he threw 5 the year before against the Eagles in the last game of the season, playing well into yhe 3rd, when the Eagles were playing their 3rd stringers.

And then when he went into the playoffs, as usual he was a disaster and couldn’t put the ball anywhere near the end-zone.

Umm…Lance has already started a number of NFL games against opposing team starters, so all this talk that he’s not ready or he can’t do so is false.

Dak’s preseason play as a rookie was an exception since both the starter and backup went out with injuries so he had to play with the starters.
