Gallup is the real deal and Amari is going to get most of the attention. Dak and Gallup have pretty good chemistry together. It would not surprise me at all to see Gallup either match or have better numbers than Amari!

Gallup does look like a #1 WR. My question with him all along is what is his total upside and I still don't think we really know but he just looks like what a WR is supposed to look like. He has a great all around game.

If Amari starts getting doubled then Dak will look to Gallup a lot.

Does everyone realize Gallup actually saw a lot more targets with Amari Cooper in the lineup? He went from 22 targets in the first seven games (3.1 per game) without Cooper, to 46 targets in the final nine games (5.1 per game) with Cooper, and that includes a zero-target game. He was a rookie last year, so it was only natural for his role to grow, and he did that despite Cooper coming there. He's probably going to be on a lot of sleeper lists come August

I found that interesting when I was doing a draft.
Now of course he also was emerging from the depth chart that once had Hurns, Williams and Deonte Thompson as the outside receivers.

Dak definitely looked his way, so I can't see why this year would be any different.

Excited about Gallop.
However, barring injury, Cooper will have the much bigger year.

I would because I think Amari will be more of the all purpose receiver, running every route, and a threat to run any route at any time, whereas Gallup will be more of the intermediate to deep threat. Obviously that's an important role, but it is a role that isn't likely to see as many targets as the role Cooper will play.

I think there will be games where this is true but over the course of the season I think Amari will accumulate more stats.

I do think they're turning into a heck of a pair though and I could imagine a scenario where they both have 1k yard seasons.

He may develop into a #1 WR. Wilson is going to develop into a strong #2 also. If Gallup comes along this year then Cooper may be released. He is going to want a 100 million dollar deal.
