Would Quinn's departure affect Micah staying here?

You ever hear of players being mad about being on the tag??? Name one player who's happy about the tag unless they're betting on themselves coming from an injury etc
What does being mad have to do w anything? Absolutely nothing. They play on the tag and they’re stuck. Parsons isn’t going anywhere. Educate yourself some.

you do the same, you're bringing up a point of something that NOBODY likes, the players want long term guaranteed contracts not a tag!! Your eyes clearly don't watch football

We have to think about that, we know he's our leader on defense and our best player on defense. They both have a great relationship, could this be in play, could it hurt contract talks?? Please give your thoughts
The way they are using Parsons I don't think he will be effective for a long time. Maybea new DC will put him in the middle and not constantly have him go mano a mano with a 320 lb lineman 50 times a game.
Those are my thoughts.

Totally agree!!!!! Maybe they feel after the 23rd time, he'll get lucky!! It makes no sense at all. Then maybe looking at it from a money perspective, you move him back to LB, LB may less than a pass rusher

Then his new team will have to give up at least 2 first round picks and other picks, or players. Then prepare to break the bank as well.
You can only do that so many years. If he really wants out he can get out

Get out of what? I think this response would be better for the poster mentioning players and the franchise tag ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Quinn's departure could result in an epic trade if cards are played right.

Not too many teams you can go to where you'll be a legend and gainfully employed once you leave.
If Micah is concerned about his earning potential AFTER football, he would want to stay with the Cowboys, ESPECIALLY, if he wins a Super Bowl.
Look at Darryl Johnston
... Troy Aikman
... Tony Romo
... Michael Irvin
... Nate Newton
... Emmitt Smith
... Darren Woodson
... Roger Staubach
and several other Cowboys who got chances to shine (financially and with endless opportunities) beyond their playing days.
Besides, Jerry Jones is FIERCELY loyal to his former stars. He takes care of them beyond football.
Sorry, but Dan Quinn doesn't have the same financial and popular cachet.

Parsons won't get the same level of media exposure with other teams like he would as a Cowboy. He has his podcast and said he wants to be like Stephen A Smith after he retires so playing for the Cowboys is always good for your resume.

Would you want to explain why??? I could name a reason or 2
He gets held a lot and it never gets called. But I bet Steelers fans say the same thing about tj watt. The browns fans probably say the same thing about Garrett. Same could be said for niners fans and bosa.

Theres no denying Parsons is an elite pass rusher. Early in the season he was unstoppable. But he has once again faded down the stretch and he gets exposed in the run game.

He's going to get a record contract by the cowboys when it comes time. Jerry is not going to let him hit the market.

But theres a reason the players didn't vote him over watt and Garrett. They are better overall players.
