Would you be interested in Quinn over Romo?

Yeh most likely and I think he would do well for them... Man did Casserly screw them something awful then pick up and leave.... Bush, Lienart and Young right there and he takes a DE. Now they are back in the same boat. If Im them I just go ahead and take Quinn, forget about Peterson he will be a bust.... Hes way to injury prone

hell u can throw in cutler too. cutler is going to be good.

and u can also throw in the browns who would be calling the cowboys too, along with the bucs, packers, lions. but not the raiders

i think quinn will be a pretty good qb in the nfl but he holds back u can tell the way he plays in big games while he was at ND.

me IMO i think romo is the cornerstone of this team. and i just think he's the real deal. he plays the game like just that. a game. he's relaxed and cool on the field and thats rare in todays game. thats something all the great ones had. im not calling romo great just yet but i think he's going to be something special
Not sure that Quinn could of done anything to win the "big games". They lost to teams that were top to bottom better than the Irish. Particularly the Ohio State and LSU bowl losses. He almost led the team to an upset of one of the truly great teams with the USC-led Leinart, White, Bush, etc team. He is a very legit NFL QB, not sure why his ND career needs to be questioned.

As for Romo being calm and cool. I think the same thing to a point, but he was all over the place against Seattle. He still has something to prove in terms of playing in the big games IMO.

everybody has their own opinion. but i will point out, with bledsoe starting dallas was about to be playing for a top 10 pick in the draft. it wasnt until romo came in that dallas offense caught up to the defense. and if it wasnt for ellis getting hurt, i truely believe dallas would have been in the superbowl.

This is a good strong post IMO. I agree with everything you've said here.

I don't question that he made the team better, but I think the reason we did not go after the Sea CBs was that Romo was clearly not the same QB he was in the regular season. He was inaccurate and rushing things. Even with that we almost won, so I just hope he improves in those aspects.

i think the cowboys have just followed the trend of parcells late in the yr. conservative as hell. u know parcells wasnt going to let romo play to win, but rather try to coach him not to lose. IMO thats just a classic case of parcells over-coaching at the end of the yr. he did the same thing with bledsoe the yr before.
