The Cowboys wouldn’t draft a quarterback in the first 3 rounds this year because they can’t play him over Dak. It would be a wasted pick.

What you don't like about him?

He's a project and not the greatest passer. More pressing needs(CB, WR, DT and RB) that needs to be addressed before we have the luxury to waste a 2nd round pick on a player that rides the pine for the next 2-3 years. Love it or not, Dak's contract says he is this teams QB1 for the next 3 years, barring injury.

Good on deep passes. Struggles on others. A speeding locomotive running the ball but that goes only so far in the NFL.
He's a faster, more solid version of Dak (with running ability).
If he's there in the 5th, take a shot. But not in the second round. Needs a lot of work.
