If it's not LT keep him where he is.

Problem is Jerry's off off-season cost everybody another year and you can now add RG to the huge needs list next year. I'm not as big on TJ Bass (Jeff Heath, O Lineman edition) as some of you are.

They were also competing against absolutely no one in their rush to pay Terrence Steele and he looks awful too. If they have an opprtunity to add a LT in the draft, they should immediately move Guyton to RT. Unfortunately, Cheap Stephen will want to play Chuma Edoga.

WR2, WR3, RB, DT, NT, RG, RT, FS, DE depth, and possibly MLB are all huge holes going into next off-season.

He has managed to overpay his QB twice by twiddling his thumbs. Overpaying his own is never a problem.
It's quite often the problem. Jerry has no problem over paying the guys who get media attention. OL guys he tends to sign early to cheaper deals like he did with Tyron or what he assumes is a great deal after injury like he did with Steele. He lets a lot of talent walk out the door pretty regularly. Just last year you had Pollard, Biadasz, Armstrong, etc walk.

I'd love it if he would pay is own a little more often.

Honestly I think he is wasted at LG. Id actually prefer him to shift to RG in the offseason as opposed to LG. Much more important run blocking position.

Im of the mind both Tylers should be the OT's next season. Im open to who plays where. Id like to see how Guyton processes at LT through the course of the season. If buy week 17 he isnt where you hope. Flip him to RT next season with Smith at LT. I think RT fully maximizes Smith in both the run game and pass game. I really like him there as long as Guyton shows you can be comfortable with him at LT.

Richards might actually be a better LG than Bass. He has much better feet in pass pro, and probably a better person to be blocking 3T's. However Im comfortable having them compete and having the best one fill the position next year. I dont think either would necessarily be a liability. If both look upgradeable after that, it would be easier to lock that position down than RT
