I think if you believe you're Super Bowl ready you start signing all the talent you can and pay the consequences 3-4 years down the road.
my question is do we have a quarterback?
We'll have answers to both questions at the end of the season.

When the ball is in the air, I hold my breath when it goes in anthony brown's direction. It feels like all it takes is one PI call and then the flood gates are open. He's been playing better but he still loses the ball during these moments. I would resign him at the right price but if he wants to get over paid I'd let him walk.

I'd hate to see Brown leave, but you're right. There is some young talent that need to take his job for cap purposes.

Maybe Brown gives a hometown discount.
Brown is a better cornerback then Awuzie and he got 20 million from Cincinnati. Brown is a good second cornerback. He is the type of player that you let go in free agency to get extra picks.

When you have nice things in the NFL its hard to enjoy them because you know the price is going up at some point.

I'm truly more worried about keeping Dan Quinn next year.

He is our real coach, chubby is just ok.

Just draft another corner. He's not going to be worth the asking price.

It could be, brother. Unless he's involved with another murder. Let's hope he's learned from that. But I doubt it because that's the culture of the genre of music he's involved in. There's was a huge red flag raised on him coming out of college. When a coach tells his best defensive player to get lost before a bowl game, that should tell you something about his character. People here were saying that we could've gotten him later in the draft. I'm starting to see why they said that.
Excluding this year, who would you say is the last solid second round pick we've drafted? Conner Williams?

They can't afford two two top 10 corners.

Not unless Dak restructures, which he should based on his availability.

I'd love for them to keep AB as he's a really good homegrown CB, but with Diggs contract coming up do they need to go cheap at CB opposite #7.

I think they give KJ the opportunity outside and pickup a comp for AB who will be getting a pay raise.

No. You have to give Joseph/Wright/Bland the opportunity to prove themselves. Diggs is about to break the bank.
I am
Probably in the minority, but I would try to trade Diggs for two first round picks. If you spend both of those first round picks on two CBS, with DQ, coaching them, the two picks and cap savings will be better than Diggs and the huge cap hit when he is resigned.

Better to trade Diggs than mega pay him, or to let him walk for a 3rd round comp pick.

..ummm.. tough one. I will say that Brown has improved with DQ defense.

Best question will be how much does he barter?

Considering your # 2 draft pick a corner from last yr just got his second ST penalty backing them up your # 3 pick from last yr needs a search warrant to find the field at all then yes Re sign Brown .

Nope. Sign someone else that is better if you are spending number 2 corner money.
