That statement sounds great. The problem is you don't know if you are getting THAT guy. There is no guarantee you would. In fact recent history with multiple teams, what hes doing this offseason (below), and his unwillingness to fix his ankle while "trying" to get signed, shows you are more than likely not getting THAT guy.

He probably didn’t need surgery, he just used that to get out. The injury healed with rest and time and wasn’t that severe.

I know playoffs don't include Antonio Brown.

Great negotiating ploy...tell everyone you arent healthy and won't get treatment till they pay for it and you won't be available for a couple months. Will make the offers fly in.

A vet minimum contract with some playoff incentives similar to Ram’s Odell’s deal for Antonio Brown to Cowboys can change out come of the season to a deep playoff run.

He was productive with Bucs making clutch plays with elite route running ability that can attack all areas of the defense. Go get this guy Will McClay!
