Exactly. Why would we do that?Is this a retirement home?
His wisdom?Exactly. Why would we do that?

Cooper handled him with ease in the DC game.No thanks - Pass......
Nope. No more JAGS in free agency. Im not drafting a 1-tech at 19 AND signing one in free agency. They aren't mutually exclusive. Draft Vea and sign McClain.
Valid points QCThis is a no brainer.
He plays at a position of need for us, we know he fits our scheme like a glove, is a productive player that wont require a high price.

Save that $$ for actual difference makers.
Are y'all saying that 29 years old for a DT is ancient..? Im confused why we wouldnt do this.Exactly. Why would we do that?
I get it, but being on the cusp of 30 with that contract is not viable for a team trying to stay young. McClain was average to solid at best. So we want him back to watch him decline and impede? This team is already holding on to Witten waaaaaaaaaay too long at a position that will help the offense and Dak.Are y'all saying that 29 years old for a DT is ancient..? People are clamoring over Poe and Logan who are 27 and 28 respectvely, yet claiming McClain should be in a retirement home at 29? What in the world?
With what contract?I get it, but being on the cusp of 30 with that contract is not viable for a team trying to stay young. McClain was average to solid at best. So no, I will pass on McClain. He was stop-gap while here, and now an older stop gap with more wear and tear on his body.
