Would you trade Dak for Aaron Rodgers?

A rodgers lost his OC and top receiver last year and had a mediocre year. Just a reminder the previous 2 years he had 85tds and 9ints and 2 mvps so yes. Absolutely.
Wait, so having weapons and a good play calling is an excuse for Rodgers but not Dak? Weird how that works

I would trade Dak for a lot less than Aaron Rogers. The Cowboys will be lucky to get a 4th rounder for him after that exhibition against the 49'ers. It's no longer in doubt that he's way overrated.

Cowboys would get more for Dak than they could ever get for Cooper Rush at least.

I would rather win a super bowl with Dak at QB than Rodgers at QB but that doesn't answer the question.

Anybody with a brain would
he is too prissy and has a great reputation for being exactly the opposite of what you want no matter how good he is. and that me attitude is never going to be greater than Jerry so yea it would not work.

No. At this point Rodgers is overpaid and a shell of his former self. And he's a diva that always deflects blame off himself and divides the locker room.

Rodgers fancies himself as the best QB ever and yet he has won one Super Bowl. And that was now 12 years ago with McCarthy as his coach.

At his age and with his contract the Cowboys would be dumb as dirt to get their hands dirty with Rodgers. At least Dak holds himself accountable for his screw ups.

Dak not having enough weapons equals "Excuses." And the Cowboys should move on from him.

While Rodgers losing Adam and not having enough equals he's still a elite QB who the Cowboys take a chance on.

I'm all for the Cowboys moving on from Dak, but will always point out the way some switch it up when declaring how Dak should be able to make it work with the current roster the Cowboys have, while giving Rodgers a break by stating how he didn't have enough help or weapons on the Packers roster.

The 2 QBs are night and day. Losing your #1 and replacing him with a slew of unknowns isn't exactly the same thing that happened here. The comparison itself is ridiculous. I do know it would be nice to have cerebral QB for a change.

AR would absolutely thrive with our Oline, Ceedee, TY, and Pollard. Don’t get me too excited because it would never happen. :(

Oh heck yea! Get rid of Dak and his contract, get a better QB with a couple years left to give us time to groom his successor. That’s a no brainer.

If they are night and day, the Rodgers should have an easier time elevating the weapons around him and should have been able to get the Packers into the playoffs. Since the narrative is how elite QBs don't need as much help and don't need to be carried, like other QBs in the NFL need to be. There's a reason for why the Cowboys letting go off Amari Cooper was deemed to be a mistake. Dak in Rodger's position wouldn't be getting the benefit of the doubt. Instead some would be using him failing to get into the playoffs with the Packers roster, as prove that Dak isn't a good QB or that he needs to be carried and needs lot of help.

LOL They still sucked with Cooper here. How's that a mistake? Like Rodgers couldn't do a better job with Cooper and Lamb here. You're fooling yourself, Dak isn't even close.

Saw similar thought from a pea brain on twitter.

Few thoughts here:
1. AR makes 50M per year so much more than Dak.
2. You'd eat dead cap of a minimum of 18M this year on top of AR's salary.
3. AR lost last year ot he same SF team Dak did the last 2 years.
4. AR couldn't get his team to the playoffs when his front office traded off his WR1.
5. AR is 800 years old and hates Mike McCarthy.

AR couldn't even make the playoffs without Devante Adams.
And with him he was worse versus SF last year than Dak was by a fair amount putting up only 10 points on 225 yards passing and 0 TDs.

Is AR a better QB than Dak? Career-wise 100000%. Now at this age? Possibly so, but with even higher costs and far fewer seasons left in his career.
If AR cared about anything but getting the highest QB salary in the league he would be far more appealing.
As is he is one of least appealing QB options in the NFL.
