If Dak stinks up the joint next year which is highly likely, he won't be firmly planted at starting anything but a backup on some other team. Dak is not an NFL QB because he can't read defenses and he can't throw worth a flip. Without Zeke, he's toast.

Our fanbase. I know on the DC board that Romo
needed to be replaced so badly that every Brady Quinn type of QB was coveted from about 2009-2013. It wasn’t until 2014 that type of constant talk vanished with the exception of one posters fascination of tanking for Marcus Mariota.

Isn't his biggest flaw a lack of motivation?
I mean, his competition in Denver was weak, but couldn't sniff the field till Trevor and Brock sucked/got injured

Rush hasn't done anything but look good against preseason scrubs. Lynch hasn't been able to beat out Trevor Semien. Dak has won 22 games in 2 seasons.

I'm a Dak supporter no doubt and defend him. Rush and Lynch could bring a draft pick whether you believe it or not.

Why would we even think about a loser like Lynch for the Cowboys. He's obviously worse than Dak.
Why do zoners keep wanting trash from other teams? The Cowboys will never improve if they
keep bringing in bums from other losing teams. Denver found out about Lynch and now we are
finding out about Dak.

A difference of opinion is fine, that doesn't mean just say anything. With Dak at the helm, the Cowboys averaged 28 points a game the first half of the season, so don't go forgetting that part of the season. No doubt Dak had a bad second half of the season and needs to do better to keep his job but it's way too early to be giving up on the guy. Have you already forgot his rookie season... offensive player of the year.

Seriously.

They "fixed" Prescott so well that he got markedly worse from year one to year two. Quite the endorsement of their abilities.

Yes why not use a 5th round pick. they were willing to trade a 2nd and 3rd for him. And they will just waste that 5th or 6th round pick anyway on some gamble type pick or trade to get an injured player to use 3 years down the road.

But here is why you really want to get Paxton Lynch in here...we have Kellen Moore to develop him.....:lmao::lmao2::muttley::laugh::banghead:

A normal organization would do this! But since Dak had a magical season there is this sense of entitlement that Dallas hands out when one player has a good season. Cooper Rush should of had playing time in that last game against the Eagles because he should of been evaluated for next season. Dallas might be better off though going after Nick Foles in the off season instead of Lynch.

Mullen is supposed to be good with QBs. I truly think Dak was hurt after the Atlanta game. Direct result of poor coaching. That game alone should have gotten Linehan and or Garrett fired. To allow a young QB to take a beating like that is ridiculous. I also think the Smith and Zeke missed games hurt. Plus he is overcoming the worst offense system in the league. I mean they run the same play, same formations all the time. Add it up and I am confident Dak is still the man. Plus he wasn’t that bad anyway.
