Would You trade T NEW for J PEppers

Pro- you get a good pass rush defense.....d ware and peppers = unstoppable

Con- you lose your best corner


But i would make this deal because i feel that if we signed Ken Lucas or Rolle and drafted a corner in the 2nd round we would be ok.

Terence cant seem to stay healthy and he also has a huge contract.

What do you guys think

I know it gets boring in the offseason but ummmmm no..... Why give up our only veteran CB who when is healthy is one of the best... Yes he does get injured and yes he may not get very many turnovers, but hes an elite corner back and IMO Peppers is on the decline...

thanks for the input....but peppers could be rejuvenated to be playing with ware...i mean giants pass rush is going to kill ours next yearr

the clever, educated fan would follow up the "huge contract" with silly things like "cap hit".

so while i'd not make the idiotic fan-trade of the day, i'd sure trade some fans for a good twinkie.

Peppers had 14.5 sacks this season ,most hes ever had in a season......clearly on the decline........

i still wouldnt make that trade though...pass rushers are easier to find than good CBs

So yes, he has been injury prone over the last 2 seasons. Fluke or trend? The guy's mouth is disproportionate to his play, which is the problem. Accusing, but not taking personal responsibility, never a welcome trait.

No for various reasons... but I think the one most people forget about is that Peppers is not a LB has not played LB and there is no garantee that he can play LB...now it is assumed that he can and perhaps he can but by no means is it a given.

FALSE.. we have been trying to find a pass rusher for years and we havent.. but we have found about 3 corners. Scandrick ,jenkins, evan oglesby.

But when you have to good pass rushers you just need average corners.
Like Pittsburg.. they have all average corners but they have a deadly pass rush which allows the corners to look great...

look at ryan clark... he is now a good safety because of their pass rush but when he played for the Commanders he wasnt
