Look at the Patriots who have had weak division for over a decade. The weaker the division the more chances you get to make the playoffs. The more chances you get to make the playoffs, the more chances you have at a super bowl. Being able to count on 5-6 easy wins per year, absolutely helps your team out in the pursuit of championships.
That's highly exaggerated.
I am all for fixing the divisions to make sense.
West: Oak, SD, SF, SEA
South West: AZ, DAL, DEN, KC
Central: CHI, GB, MIN, STL
Mid East: CIN, CLE, DET, IND
Gulf: HOU, MIA, NO, TB
North East: BUF, NE, NYG,NYJ
East: BALT, PHI, PIT, WAS
South: ATL, CAR, JAX, TEN
No, it's not.
No, it's not.
It's absolutely ridiculous to say 90% of the league's glory comes from the NFC East.
Unless he was saying all tradition and rivalries. In that case, I agree.
Precisely- you give a darn darn if he was asking for an autograph from Peyton Manning?http://letterstotheeditorblog.***BANNED-URL***/files/import/102106-15_Choice-thumb-350x233-102105.jpg
Oh, really?
of course. higher chance of success. this is all that matters to a fan.
Precisely- you give a darn darn if he was asking for an autograph from Peyton Manning?
Maybe so, but not from an Eagle. Not from a stinking Eagle...
If the players don't honor the rivalry, then there is no rivalry.
One player doth not maketh a team, or does it?
Now his transgression is grievous, but he IS, but one player- unless you can dig up more players on our team recently asking for rival's sigs.
Maybe you can dig up a Witten leak of him begging for an Eli Manning auto! No rivalry!
Title says it all.
If you could take the Cowboys and switch them with any other team in football, would you do it? Why or why not?
If so, which team would you switch with, and why?
Personally, I wouldn't. There's too much rich history among the rivalries in the NFC East.
I like this, then take the 12 or 14 best teams regardless of division and have your playoffs.
Dallas should be in division with Atlanta, Houston and New Orleans if doing it geographically.
Tampa Bay, Jax, Miami and Carolina should be together.
Buffalo, NYG/NYJ, and NE should be together
StL, KC, Den and Ariz
GB, Det, Minn and Chi
Cle, Cinn, Tenn and Ind
Pitt, Phil, Wash Balt
SF, SD, Oak, Sea
Hm
Let me ask it in another way.
When was the last time anyone outside of New England and Indianapolis were in any way competitive for >3 years in either of their respective divisions? How has that been for those two teams?
That will inform my answer.
